This hotel is amazing. Possibly one of the only 4 star boutique hotels in all of Cuba. The front desk staff and wait staff were extremely accomidating and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the hot water in the bathroom got HOT and had great water pressure. Which is a big plus for countries like Cuba. The rooms have (a...

We went on a private tour to Gibara with friends and a guide in his classic car, from our hotel in Guardalavaca. After a walk of the town we stopped at the Hotel E Ordono and enjoyed the views of this sleepy fishing village, from its roof top terrace. There is a roof top bar but ,unfortunately ,it wasn't open. The...

This is a beautiful Art Deco hotel. Visited only for lunch however but got the opportunity to wander around and go onto roof terrace where the views were amazing. Toilets were spotlessly clean and food was good.

We spent 3 very relaxing nights at this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and we had great views over the ocean to the mountains on the other side of the bay. The service was mostly exemplary, particularly Guillermo who personally walked us to a great restaurant (El Coral) for lunch. Breakfast was good and dinner at the hotel...

We ended up staying here for five days. The hotel staff were friendly, provided great service, and even before we arrived let us know about Cubanacan's website where we could secure a discount on our rate. Gibara is a lovely small town with great food and nice beaches nearby.

This was, perhaps, the best hotel we stayed in of the 12 on our trip. It had good service, the room and bath were very nice, and it was located well in this small town. The breakfast is ordered and served.

We stopped here for lunch on a larger excursion from our resort in Holguin. What an amazing place. Set in the old seaside town of Gibara, it was a totally dilapidated building that was completely restored to its original glory. I can't say anything for the rooms but the dining room was a treat. Its well laid out with attentive...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a planned tour. We were amazed and delighted with the hotel, the staff and the surroundings. We had a suite which was clean and quiet. The lobby was beautiful, the food delicious and the staff incredibly helpful. I would like to give special recognition to Carlos, bartender/waiter and Rajiv. Many of...

Clean, very helpful staff, quiet, safe works(!), nicely painted in bright colors. Can't say enough about what a wonderful place, and the breakfast was very good also, with everything fresh. Live Caribbean music at dinner was excellent. Government-owned and -run, and couldn't have been better. No elevator, but staff was happy to carry luggage. Change money at all hours. Very...
