We booked the crystal mountain lodge to go hiking the next morning. It is a clean place to shower and sleep. The staff was very helpful. Since our flight was delayed we arrived after 1:00am at the place picking up clear written instructions where to find our room. The rooms are functional and suitable for friends or families. Don't expect...

We recently stayed at the Quicksilver Inn which is one of the Crystal Mountain hotels. We had a loft room which was cool unless you're tall which we are. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable but the walls were thin. I was woken up at 12:00 a.m. by a noisy neighbors and a story of why he...

We did not stay in the hotel, but since this is the only nicer restaurant in the area, we don't have a lot of choices. The dishes are fine, but not great. But the choices are limited (and the menu remains the same) for consecutive dinners. You do have to book to have a table, exp. during the weekends and...

The only thing this place has going for it is the location, being close to the ski resort. They are clearly gouging with their prices, but they are taking advantage of supply and demand economics. There is no real competition for this family owned hotel compound. The real problem I have with it is that they are not even attempting...

Was our launch point for Mt. Rainier. Took a loft room with two twin beds upstairs for the "Kids Club" and parents down below on a queen bed. Room overall was kind of tight. But we survived. Room was fairly clean. We did hear conversations of our neighbors. So choose your words and activities in the room carefully. Bed was...

I've stayed here a number of times over the years and it provides easy access to Mt. Rainier (White River/Sunrise & Stevens Canyon), the Goat Rocks, Wm O. Douglas Wilderness and is a good "way point" for other areas like Mowich/Carbon River. I did not eat at the restaurant on my last stay but in the past the food has...

I was looking for a place to stay while in Rainier National Park and drove up to Crystal Mtn and thought it would be nice to stay here. Of course it was the summer and not many people at all here. I got a nice room for $108 which was in the building above the check in area. Had a...
