We have never experienced a B+B like this, we booked for four nights and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The accommodation is dormitory style, small bedrooms with furnishings that in many ways take you back to the early part of the last century...More
Talheo Cannery Guest House is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord. Sensational views across the bay. Garrett the owner picks you up in a boat and it's a five minute ride from Bella Coola to the cannery with its tumbledown buildings. Guests stay in the former ladies' bunkhouse.
