We stayed two nights in a cabin at Nakiska Ranch during September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabins are rustic, but sit in the most beautiful landscape. We were able to sit on our balcony at night watching the mountains change colour in the setting sun drinking a chilled bottle of wine. They are well equipped with oven, hob,...

Staying on the ranch a long way from civilisation was a great experience. It is more expensive than other B&B places we stayed in during our trip to Canada as it costs 20 dollars per person for breakfast on top of the room rate but it was one of our most memorable stays. Lars is friendly, welcoming and helpful especially...

This ranch is very isolated, with great access to Wells Gray Park. Lars the owner is very friendly, but the only one who interacts with guests, everyone else seems unconcerned or uninterested. We reported 2 issues with the chalet, neither of which got resolved by the second night. Breakfast is limited and outrageously expensive, as all other options are at...

This was our second stay at this hidden little gem. We stayed two nights in June and just recently for one night in July. Both experiences were excellent. The owners were charming and very polite, patient and helpful. This is truly a family run business. The owners serve breakfast and dinner, which is prepared by a great chef. They also...

We really enjoyed our stay at Nakiska ranch. Lars was a warm and welcoming host who was most accommodating of the needs of his guests. We had a four month old baby with us and this was not a problem at all. The home cooked meals were a tad on the pricey side, but we didn't mind this extra expense...

Nakiska Ranch is a class of its own. You must remember that Nakiska Ranch is a real operating farm. It is not a luxury hotel. Knowing that you can enjoy the great ranch with its beautiful views! The ranch located on the entrance of the great Wells Gray Provincial Park. Lars is great host who can cook a real good...

We kicked off our 10 day vacation with 2 nights at Nakiska Ranch. We couldn't have chosen a better start. Our host Lars was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had a room in the ranch house with our own bathroom and it was very comfortable. The food was fabulous and we really enjoyed eating on the deck with the incredible...

You'll be welcomed here by larger than life (6ft 6ins) Swiss-Danish stetson wearing cowboy farmer Lars, who is a superb host. Don't expect high end luxury - this is the real deal... clean but simple log cabins that smell of freshly cut cedar, and are reasonably well equipped (ours had kitchen and living room downstairs, bedroom up) but are just...

Our stay at Nakiska Ranch was fantastic, the surroundings and Ranch itself were just what we were looking for, plenty of waterfalls and wildlife. Lars was very attentive and amiable, and a brilliant cook. I was the first tourist to ride his trails, we fell in love with the place and the humming birds on the deck. My husband now...

Being in the middle of nature was so great. The cabin is authentic and very high qualities. The host just understood our needs. Rustic but elegant lodging. Great breakfast. We will be back for sure. Can't wait for next year.
