From the moment of arrival, we were treated like family at this beautiful and unique wilderness resort. After settling into our fabulous safari tent with its huge deck and view of the lake, we were given a tour of the resort and shown its trails, horses, tomahawk throwing spot, and many other activities. After checking out the greenhouse and garden...

I still can't believe I stumbled upon the best vacation I've ever had just Googling "guest ranch". I wanted time spent with horses out enjoying the landscape and was fortunate enough to find Siwash which provided that and so much more. The accommodations are incredible, food is delicious and beautifully presented, the horses are not like any "rental horses" you've...

We spent 6 fabulous nights at this wilderness resort. For those looking for complete tranquility in a fabulous setting surrounded by glorious countryside and wildlife spoiled from morning to night by the fantastic team then this is the place for you. Located in a beautiful part of British Columbia, Siwash Lake was such a wonderful experience. We stayed in one of the Safari Tents. Huge, oh-so-comfortable beds with down duvets and plenty of pillows. The gas-fired stove in the corner of the room kept the room nice and comfortable. The bathroom had radiant-floor heat. The riding trails were just amazing, the...

Siwash Lake Ranch is pretty much the most out of the way 'hotel' that we've ever been to as a family, but having spent four idyllic days there, I can confidently say that it was the most worthwhile and wonderful time I think we have ever experienced together. As we arrived after a long drive, we were greeted by Allyson...

We spent five very happy nights at Siwash and were expertly looked after by Allyson and her always-obliging team. The 'glamping' style tents are great fun and well thought out - the huge double bed was exceptionally comfy. The highlight for us was the activities - especially the riding, which (even as complete novices) we loved. There is a focus...

We stayed at Siwash for 5 days in July travelling with our 3 children ranging from 6 to 15 yrs old. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ensuite tent which it would be unfair to describe as camping. It was an amazing holiday with different highlights for everyone. For my daughter and I, me as a first time rider, it...

We stayed at Siwash Lake Ranch for 5 nights and greatly enjoyed the experience, despite mixed weather. We rode horses every day and even on a rainy day the cowboys kept our 4-year old daughter busy grooming her favourite horse or showing our 6-year old boy where eggs come from (not the supermarket!). There is plenty of other activity that...

My family and I stayed at the Ranch with hopes of good family fun, adventure great food and relaxation. The adventure part- the crew for activities were great. We stayed in the lodge/House which at night and morning was noisy from the cooking crew(no doors on the kitchen). Waking up to muffins and coffee at our door is a nice...
