This is a rustic well maintained resort with mineral hot spring pools, including a guest only pool. Good restaurant, coffee shop and pub with nice menu selections. We stay in the resort about four times per year and in the summer park our motor home...More
We have not been to the Fairmont wine festival for a few years. Our loss.....last nites edition was very good. I will first mention the food. Overall the resort did a great job with a nice selection of hot and cold appetizers. Two carving stations...More
Enjoyed the hot springs pools but we were shocked at the poor overall condition of the resort. Interior cafe furniture was scratched and seats broken. Light fixtures needed bulbs. Carpet stained and worn. The pools ladies dressing room lacked doors or most were broken. This...More
A very nice spot to spend some time and enjoy the hot springs. There are three different temperatures in the hot pools. It costs to get in and towels are $4.00 on top of the entry fee. Well worth the money spent.
COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER TO MAKE USE OF THE SURROUNDING FACILITIES

Umbrella is not recommended as it has some trees around for shade or try different time to avoid the direct sun. You can allow to bring beverages as long it is not in glass. Plastic or paper cup is fine. I haven't sern people bring in food. Not in private pool.there is a food market beside the public pool which sells ice cream pastels coffee etc.i think you can bring in your shade and drink to the public pool area but not to the private pool section which is stictly for hotel guests only.relax and enjoy the hot spring which has no rotten egg smell. The only thing that bugs is the sofeness of the mattress and pillow. Mind you the resort is not your typical 5 star hotel. It is dated but enjoyable overall， perfect for family vacation.
Well, I know for sure they have pet friendly rooms. My sister asked and it was an extra $30 a night for pets. Didn't see any around the resort though. Maybe everyone is saying no because they don't want animals there????
