Even though it was the natural disaster that washed out the Trans Canada Highway we loved the Lodge. Clean, cozy and nicely located in the middle of the forest with spectacular views of the Kicking Horse River and the mountains. The Staff went above and beyond helping us in every way to get us back to California. Thank you James and...

We chose to spend the first half of our honeymoon at cathedral mountain lodge and are thrilled we did. The lodge is cozy and inviting, and the cabins are a perfect retreat. The thing we found ourselves most impressed by though was the incredible staff...warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Breakfasts (included) were really great, too! The distance to Banff is...

Absolutely amazing place to stay for that truly authentic Rocky Mountains experience. The staff are very good and give an absolutely first class service. Both James & Duncan were very friendly and gave great advice on what to do and where to go. I found all of the front desk staff to be very helpful, friendly and proffessional. They will also...

Recently enjoyed a wonderful two days at the Cathedral Mountain Lodge. We were doing a motorcycle trip in British Columbia and planned to use the Lodge as a base to explore the areas around Banff, Lake Louise and Yoho National Park. The location was perfect, situated beside the Kicking horse river and in the shadow of the mountain, complete with...

Needed some down time in the mountains and this fit the bill perfectly. A stunning location right on the Kicking Horse River. Our very comfortable cabin (#24) had a beautiful mountain view. There is plenty of free firewood stacked on the porch for the fireplace, and great housekeeping service. The staff are first class and go out of their way...

We stayed there for four nights June 2013. We reserved two cabins and were able to get them next to each other. Cabins #1 and #2 were on the river near the lodge. The rooms were comfortable and ours had two chairs both in cabin and the deck. Breakfast is included and good. The eggs were made in small amounts...

Spent 2 nights at the Lodge - could not ask for better! The location is the best we've encountered in the Rockies, with stunning views from the cabins and Lodge. The cabins are very well appointed, couldn't ask for more (except perhaps 2 easy chairs in the cabin for weary travellers). The food is exceptional served in a superb Lodge...

We spent two nights at the Cathedral Lodge and found it to be small, but well appointed and quite cozy. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating and the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast was included and it was varied and quite tasty. We were within a few miles of some pretty amazing hikes! The drawback for some is the Cathedral...

We were disappointed by Cathedral Mountain Lodge. However, having looked around some of the other options with a future stay in mind, I still think it is one of the best options in the area. The lodges are really quite close together and there is no sense of privacy. The lodges themselves are very clean and nicely decorated. The bath...

We stayed here in September 2012. we felt welcomed and were escorted via a buggy to our lodge promptly and given a run down of where things were and timings for meals etc. The layout is lovely and there are wild grasses and flowers along the pathways and between the lodges which give a natural feel to the place.
