Stayed 1 night, its a lodge, room was ok, restaurant seemed understaffed and closed at 9pm. We buggered off to Field and had a drink and food in the Truffle Pigs Bistro, that was hugely enjoyable. Then back to the Lodge for sleep. Its a good place to get to the Burgess Shale walks starting point early in the morning.... More

I did not expect too much when I booked this hotel. Just want to get a reasonable place to stay in this tourist area while visiting the surrounding lakes and mountains. Here are the pros: 1) Price: I booked quite in advance from hotel.com, the price is quite reasonable considering the season and the location. 2) Location: a perfect location... More

This is probably one of the most overpriced hotels we've ever been too. $200 for a very basic room! The place is run down, renovation long overdue, not very clean. Very basic furniture; no hair dryer, no coffee, no shower fan. We had 2 rooms: the room in the main building was very small; hard to find electric outlets. The... More

We stayed in a 4 person dorm. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. There were enough outlets and the bathroom was clean. The best is the location on Wapta lake. Just as beautiful as it's more famous neighbors but is not yet overrun by tourists. Highly recommend

The room is not that great for the price. Two hundred a night for a queen bed room that was outdated. The cleanliness was clearly lacking. There were several hairs on the bedspread and the towels in the bathroom which made me wonder if they were washed. Floors were dusty and the room smelled musty. We were also looking forward... More

The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room wasn't very big and the washroom is outdated, but considering the cost of other hotels in this area, it was well worth it for the price. There is a restaurant with patio which has nice views. Included breakfast wasn't anything to write home about (cereal, toast, pastries,... More

The hotel's location is not the best. It is situated in the middle of nowhere, along Highway 1. The doors all face outdoors, so there were no elevators. We have to go on stairs. Inside the room, we had 2 bunk beds, which was fun! We had a couch, and a living chair. We also had a small dining table... More

The room had a bed and a TV, nothing else. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a gold bathtub, cracked mirror and badly needs updating. The staff was very friendly and pleasant but for $200 a night that we paid it was not worth the money. The view from my room was very beautiful of the mountain but... More

We recently were married at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and chose to have our reception of 65 people here. It may not be a lot of people's first choice but it was absolutely perfect for us. We had a bonfire social the night before the wedding and it was a big hit with the gazebo, lights and old school... More

We stayed here for the $99 per person/night with a lift ticket to Lake Louise so the price was definitely right. We got what we paid for. We didn't stay in the main building so unsure whether that would have been better. We stayed in the buildings dettached from the main hotel & unfortunately there was a high school trip,... More
