We stayed in room 104 with private bathroom. The room is clean and the beds are big. There are free parking very close to our room. Restaurant is good. Our room is too far for wifi. Very small village. Lovely town. FrIendly staff (family business)

(Opinion based on lunch and dinner.) What a nice place to eat if you are travelling the Kicking horse Pass. It is simple but the food is unexpectidly good and special; how about borscht (Russian Beat soup), or strip loin with caffe sauce? At dinner time you may have to wait a while to be seated, as more people have...

I stumbled off the road into the micro town of Field, BC because I was starving and saw the Truffle Pig. What a name, but there wasn't going to be another place to eat for at least 50 or more miles so I decided to chance it and I'm really glad I did. The decor is serviceable, but the food...

There is nothing terrible wrong with this place, but we found it disappointing. What's fine: the bedroom is a good size; there are wiFi, TV, fridge, microwave; there is a laundry on the premises. However, the room is brown and cheerless; lighting in the bathroom is dim; bathtub drain is blocked; toilet is temperamental; sink plug will not close tight....

These three little pigs had a great stay! Large clean room, comfortable beds, deli and restaurant on site. Helpful staff. The Canadian Pacific railway line is very close by so the odd train noise overnight but don't let it put you off. Field is really just a small village but an ideal spot if , like our son, you are...

Very nice location, very friendly people, very good restaurant with a nice choice of meals. Visitors Center, Cafe, Bar and gift shops nearby. Good basis to start day trips to Emerald Lake e.g. Several times a day big, long freight trains stop and start near the Inn.

Field is a lovely little spot with attractive houses, the ever present railway, and Lord of the Rings type rocks looming above. It was a welcome stop and is a great base for Yoho National Park or Lake Louise. The Lodge is fine: a bit motel like with basic rooms and slightly dated furnishings. The hairdryer was ridiculously low powered...

It was a nice little hotel, looked like just 10 rooms. It was modern, clean, quiet (did not hear any trains during the night). Field is such a cute little town. The only issues we had was food, not much for vegetarian options and the menu was a little too fancy for our liking we did see a lot of...

There aren't many lodging choices in Field and Truffle Pigs looks cute. Rooms are decent, but have two major shortcomings. Their wifi signal is almost non-existent in the two different rooms we had there. The only place with a strong signal is in the bar and restaurant. Also, the rooms have in floor radiant heat, which takes hours to change...

Located in small village of Field, about 20 minutes from Lake Louise, this Lodge is in a great location. It is a short distance to Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls, both must sees. Field is a railroad town operating 24 hours a day, so railroad sounds at night are likely heard all over the village. Like most lodgings in the...
