All positives. No negatives. My wife enjoyed viewing the antiques.Great breakfast and conversations with both hosts. This is a perfect example of why we are starting to stay in B&Bs instead of hotels.

We stayed at the Alicion for 2 nights in September. It was a beautiful property and a nice walk to the downtown area. The hosts gave us maps and ideas of things to see in the area. We enjoyed 2 delicious breakfasts and loved visiting with the other guests and our host. Through information provided by our host we were...

We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Alicion B&B during a recent road trip through the Maritimes. We and our friends traveling with us, all loved the Alicion and it's fantastic heritage and craftsmanship. The finishings throughout the house were amazing and Lorne, out host, had some incredible authentic pieces throughout with a story for each of them....

We stayed at the lovely Alicion Bed & Breakfast several weeks ago with another couple we were travelling with and all four of us were immensely impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms (Kingfisher & Dragonfly) and the home in general. Lorne was very knowledgable of the town and gave great restaurant suggestions. The breakfast was delicious and...

We stayed in the Alicion for 2 nights in late August and had a great stay. The hosts are very friendly and the room was large and comfortable. The house is an old historic house just out of downtown in Lunenburg about a 10 minute walk to the wharf and numerous great restaurants, shops etc. The breakfast was awesome and...

The Alicion is a beautiful grande old home, but it does not reflect "old" in terms of furnishings, maintenance, or upkeep. We stayed in the Kingfisher Room on the main floor. The room and bathroom are well appointed with beautiful furnishings, comfortable bedding, and nice wood trim. We enjoyed our breakfast of granola yogurt and and scrambled egg, feta, and...

Stayed three days to explore the area. Host and Hostess were great, our room was large and comfortable. Stayed at several other B and B's during our visit and this was one of the nicest with a great breakfast. Would definitely return on future visits!

Alicion is a lovely property in a perfect setting close to historic downtown Lunenberg. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious each morning of our stay. We let the proprietor/cook choose the menu and he served us wonderful omelettes full of fresh veggies. He was also very helpful with restaurant selections and knowledge of the area....

A friend and I had a wonderful 3-day stay at this lovely B&B in a mansion in downtown Lunenburg. Our room was spacious, the beds comfy and the bathroom was divine with a claw foot tub outfitted as a shower. As well, it’s within easy walking distance of Lunenburg Harbour and historic waterfront area with lots of restaurants and shops....

After two weeks traveling through Nova Scotia, we ended our vacation at the lovely Alicion for 3 night. The room was very clean and fresh and breakfasts were amazing. The location is only a short walk to the habour. The owners, Lorne and Janet certainly made our stay a real treat.
