We stayed at the Auberge du Vieux Foyer for one night while cycling the P'tit Train du Nord. It is a large property 2K from the trail, and I would recommend checking a map or ask for directions in Val David before leaving the bike path. It's not hard to find but after biking a full day in the rain,...

I booked this Inn back in late spring when I was planning a summer cycling trip with my wife and another couple. I had read very good reviews on Trip Advisor and I wasn't disappointed as service was excellent from the moment we arrived until our departure. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the food was...

I've stayed here once before in April 2014, back then the room I had was fine. This time around, I arrive to find mold on the outer air conditioning vents (can you imagine what it inside?!?). The musty smell could not be removed, I sprayed products, bought hanging air fresheners, to no avail. The mildew in the washroom was ridiculous,...

We stayed there for one night only and really enjoyed the place - hot and cold pools and sauna. The rooms are a good size and clean (and that's the most important thing for us!!!) The service from the cleaning and the restaurant staff was great. But, above all, the food at their restaurant was amazing. Great weekend!!!

Great stay, food was fantastic and the Nordic spa was relaxing. The Jacuzzi in the room would need an overhaul The room was clean. The breakfast with homemade jams was great. Wished we stayed stayed for a longer stay.

I had the opportunity of staying at one of their chalets twice, and both times, I really enjoyed my stay, which included skiing, soaking in the hot tub and an absolutely magnificent 4-course dinner. Very relaxing… I've already booked my next stay.

The room had very thin walls and you could hear everything our neighbours were saying. The living space is extremely small and looks more like a low class motel (even thou the room was advertised as Luxe) The fan and fridge are noisy and and need to be replaced by new ones. On the plus side the Jacuzzi and the...

We had a great stay at Auberge du Vieux Foyer. The food was excellent (my husband said the mussels appetizer was among the best he has ever had.) The four course meals were delicious! A large hot tub was a great way to end a day of cross country skiing. I'd agree with other reviewers that the rooms felt a...

We recently spent a weekend at the Auberge and overall enjoyed our stay. A few observations: - The place is a bit dated yet appears to be well maintained. Our room was clean, but perhaps due for a spring cleaning (carpet corners and out of reach spots were a bit dusty), few other bits could use cleaning and fixing (both...

We have run a XC Ski Trip here for the WTC at the beginning of February every year for the past 7 years. As usual the service, food, outdoor hot tub and XC Skiing were great. Our group reserves a number of rooms in both the Auberge and Champetre. My husband and I have shared the Chalet Marais with 2...
