This a very old Motel, in need of modernization. The room was decorated with old wood panelling. The plumbing is very old and in dire need of updating. The room is heated with an electric base board unit which is very slow to heat. Wile the TV is a modern flat screen, it is located to low for comfortable viewing....

We stayed here for 3 nights, July 27-30th" Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is an older motel, Family run, for years. The owner, Dollard went above and beyond to make sure we would be comfortable for our stay, and a wealth of information, answered any questions we had. We had a room with 2 double beds and a...

I have stayed in a lot of motels but never have I stayed in one so nice at such an affordable rate. I have stayed in a number that were significantly more expensive and still very run down. John's Motel however, is very affordable and I felt it was very charming. The service was friendly and it the bed was...

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bathurst. Dollard gave us a room that suited our needs and he was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. The room was very quiet at night, despite being on the main road. While actually located in Beresford, it is only about 3-5 minutes from downtown Bathurst, so quite handy.

We stayed here for one night as a family with our dog. We had a room with a kitchen and two double beds. The kitchen and dining area were separated from the sleeping area (essentially two rooms within our one motel room). Really loved how the room was set up and it was big enough for our dog to not...

Only stayed here one night on our trip through the East coast but easily could have stayed longer. Room was spotless and the host very helpful and friendly. The grounds are well kept and the bed comfortable. There was fridge in the room, hot water clean bathroom. We stayed on the ground level. We heard no noise from the people...

Stayed at John's Motel for a couple of weeks while working in the Bathurst area in August, 2014. Our host Dollard was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms we rented were clean and beds comfortable, overall a very positive experience. I would not hesitate to stay at John's Motel again!
