We did some research and found the Blue Willow was rated # 1 by a few reviews. The # 1 rating is very much deserved. The best parts of this B & B are the 3 course breakfasts, the hosts (Maxine and Jim), the cleanliness...More

I booked our reservation from the web site after speaking directly to the owners. The site would not permit me to post the link, but if you Google the Blue Willow Guest House British Columbia, the web site is easy to locate on-line.
I located their contact number on the web site. The owners DO speak English and they were very kind helping us not only schedule our reservation, but also assisting us with coordinating transportation.
Qualicum Beach is only accessible via ferry and the schedule is somewhat limited depending on the time of year you will be visiting the island. It can also be confusing, since two ferries access the island, but one is closer to Vancouver and one station is close to Seattle. You will need a car to travel to the ferry and while you are visiting Qualicum Beach.
I apologize I am not familiar with Fukuoka airport, but your flight is quite early. I would advise being very certain of the ferry schedule to ensure you can be at the airport in time. We were at the ferry station over an hour before our departure time to secure our slot since they do have a maximum number of vehicles the ferry can accommodate each trip.
I hope this information is helpful.
