The Tara Manor Inn is a charming place to spend the night before heading onto the Grand Manan ferry at Blacks Harbour. We arrived late but Laura, at the front desk, was super friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit dated but clean and even had a fridge and microwave. We had a private seating area and I noticed...

We spent one night at Tara Manor on our recent trip to St. Andrews. The carriage room was beautiful as were the rest of the grounds. The woman working the front desk was very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was a great addition.

This was a quaint place to stay that was cleaned each day while we were out and run by a couple that we met later in the week. They were very friendly as was their staff. We had breakfast each morning in the dining room which was complimentary. We don't eat wheat and they happen to have Gluten free bread...

Lovely arrival with champagne, it was our anniversary! Wonderful room, huge closet, double sink bath, king bed and living room area with TV. Five minutes to St. Andrews and shopping, restaurants. The surrounding area was lovely and we enjoyed also visiting The Algonquin and the Rossmount Inn for drinks on Saturday night. Tara Manor had an OK continental breakfast and...

What A Pleasant Surprise. From the moment we drove down the picturesque laneway, we could feel a strong sense of pride in this gorgeous setting. Our room was stunning, and strongly embraced the character of it's historic background, that the owners are maintaining. Darrin, the owner, took the time to have a great chat with us, sharing his excitement of...

We recently stayed here on our trip to New Brunswick. We were very happy with it, in fact we added an extra night to our trip to stay another night here. It was accessible to all the things in and around St. Andrews. Best of all it was clean, staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay here again...

Stayed here for two nights with a 3 month old. They were so accomadating! Has a very homey feel, like a home away from home. Beautiful grounds, a pool and a hottub. Plus tennis courts and a play area for kids. The deck outside the rooms was great to have, let me have some relax time outside while my little...

“Our room was beautiful. I think the original parlor?? The only issue we had was I am very sensitive to odors and I could smell the old mustiness from the fireplace. But I spoke with the front desk and they were going to work on that after we left. ”
