Resort is very dated. Staff was very friendly. Nice gift shop. Nice games room. Grounds were very nice. Dog friendly. It was the end of the season so there wasn't much going on there. Not sure that we would return.

Lovely property not in the downtown location.Beds very comfortable. The Colonial could provide more pillows and extra towels. Quiet location. Rooms were very clean. Sitting chairs not very comfortable.

The service that we had in every way was excellent-rooms clean, food excellent and plenty of it,staff went out of their way to make our stay happy, day trips awesome, playhouse show and of course this year some of us went to Boldt Castle on our own but was made possible that some of us could do that and the rest still...

The location is very convenient. The staff is very helpful. We stayed a night on Oct 15. The room and bathroom was clean. The beddings were also clean. Really cannot complain at the reasonable price. Good value for the money.

We just returned from another fun vacation @ The Colonial Resort & Spa, Gananoque On. If you ever need time away, pleasant & relaxing, this is it. A mini holiday where you unpack your bag once & are cared for by staff who really do care. Meals are homemade and varied, no prep or clean-up, so suitable to me..Rooms are...

We didn't stay here, we went for a couples massage when the Spa at the Ganonoque Inn and Spa was full. The Grounds are huge. Lots of room for the kids to play. Buildings look nice. The Spa initially looked kind of sketchy: You have to walk through the bar to get to it and the "serenity garden" is completely...

Our criteria was economical price and had to have a pool, it was cheaper than most other places in town but it was out in the middle of nowhere , nice but small pool, fascinating garden room by the pool, the bar was empty and looked like its always that way. Our room (55) was tiny and resembled a converted broom...

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. The resort is located on the west end of town and many hotels are located on the east end of town. We are actually closer to the downtown than most hotels and we are closer to the waterfront as well. Room 55 is our smallest room. You may...

We enjoyed our stay for a night in september. Excellent choice for visiting the 1000 islands. Very well-located, clean and comfortable rooms, charming and quiet environment , swimming-pool, parking free, no restaurant but several possibilities not far away from the hotel, a gifts shop in the place. Just take care that breakfast finish at nine. Good qualité/price !

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort during labor day weekend. It was fine, but there were a few things that needed improvement. In general, the staff was nice. We were greeted with a warm welcome and informed of where to go for our room. Once inside, we noticed a couple of flies and the air conditioner was above...

I went here on my way to do the thousand islands cruise and stayed for one night. It was just enough as this hotel needs a little TLC, rooms are oldish. The site is beautiful however, they also have a bar inside the main building and an indoor pool as well as outdoor pool. Easy access makes it an ideal...
