Hosts were very accomodating, breakfast was lovely in the sunny dining room. Perfect location - walking distance to Magog Centre-Ville for shopping/restaurants. I was able to park across the street (at the church for a small fee) for the night and not worry! Room was immactulate and cozy, strong Wifi. Loved the clawfoot tub. Had all the amenities I needed for a quick Christmas shopping trip. Can't wait to return!
A lovely victorian B&B, conveniently located, thoughtfully decorated, super clean. The room had a coffee machine, always very welcome. We felt comfortable and had a lovely breakfast in the garden with home made vegetable pâté and jam, croissant and even gluten free options available.
This is a good bed and breakfast with very comfortable accommodation. We needed a last minute location as our reservation nearby fell through. Our hosts were very helpful and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. Definitely recommended! We found Natalie just delightful and the food was delicious. Eating in the garden was most enjoyable.
My girlfriend and I came to the Belle Victorienne for our anniversary and we had such a wonderful stay. The room was super cute and perfectly cozy. The staff was extremely accommodating to our dietary needs and even went out of their way to buy vegan products for us! Loved everything about this place - would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay. Thank you so much, can’t wait to come back :)
Fantastic B&B! Beautifully decorated room and delicious breakfast. Well located in Magog close to everything. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to another stop next summer Thanks Natalie and Régent lovely B&B
I stayed in the L'Envoûtante - Pavillon Merry room at the La Belle Victorienne bed and breakfast for 3 nights on a hiking trip. The room was in the attic and was absolutely charming and comfortable. The bed was relatively firm, pillows were great and it even had a classic clawfoot bathtub (in addition to a private shower/bath facility) which came in handy after crazy hikes in the national park. Natalie was one of the owners and was absolutely wonderful. She prepared a different breakfast each of the three mornings (I ate them in the garden - skipped the option to eat in my room - COVID limits) which were each unique and delicious, especially the homemade strawberry spread on the last breakfast! Comfortable, non-generic style and great hosts made the stay one of my most pleasant trips to date.…
My husband and I very much enjoyed our recent stay at La Belle Victorienne. This B&B is well located in the town of Magog, a mere ten minute walk to local restaurants and shopping. Our hosts, Natalie and Régent, were very helpful and provided us with delicious breakfasts and a cosy room. We also appreciated the discounts on golf and restaurants that were on offer.
This B&B is a complete charmer. The room was lovely, the bed super comfortable. A few steps from downtown area. There is a small fridge in each room, a Keurig coffee machine with a variety of pods, wine glasses, lovely soaps, shampoo etc. And air conditioning. Linens were nice and soft. Breakfast was served in our room and was delightful. A true French feast of croissants, ham, cretons, fruit salad, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, home made jams, muffins, orange juice etc.etc. A real delight. The owners were very present and involved in every detail of our stay. Lovely people. I’ll be going back, and suggest you book your stay here. One of the very best in Magog.
We decided to visit Magog since we can’t go very far during the pandemic. It was a lovely stay for 2 days. Our room was great clean and cosy. Would of like a bigger bathroom. We relaxed in the spa one afternoon after a long day of touring. The owners are very kind and Helpful answering all of our needs. We enjoyed the fact that Principale street was walking distance and a local grocery store close by. Due to the pandemic a lot of stores where closed as well some restaurants. In front of this Victorian house is a beautiful church that one day will visit on my next trip to Magog . It wasn’t open to the public yet. Must rent a bike and see the wonderful beaches and landscaping that Magog has. We are definitely going back to visit. Our stay was a memorable one.
We choose B&B’s to enjoy the knowledge of a local host/hostess and get away from the impersonal feel of the chain hotels. La Belle Victorienne boasts a do-it-yourself ethos and this is what you get. Instructions with a key code are mailed to you and you make your own breakfast in the morning. All very impersonal and somehow a bit cold. The house is lovely with great lounge, terrace and hot tub facilities. Our room. The ‘Exuberance’, was comfortable and well equipped. The trouble for us that they had obviously not had room for a proper bathroom. The bath (a claw foot tub – not our favourite) was actually in the bedroom. The toilet and sink were in a separate room that was as small as it could be and still function. No proper internal door handles, just magnetic catches and an annoying opening that trapped fingers. We wish we could say something about the staff, but we never saw them!…
