Hi i dont like to write negative reviews, but since i feel like i got robbed i have to share.Rented the place for the pool and only the pool,it was closed all cracked in need of major repairs.End of may on second weekend of heatwave you think he might have wanted to get that fixed earlier in season. My bad i shoulda called to see if the pool was open?Ok ill survive i said.Wanted to bbq as advertised on site.Bbq rusted out of service unusable.Put my son in the shower old bar of soap lying around.Coffe maker with no coffee and unwashed properly. This place probably had charm once way back when.Evrything is abandoned and left to rot, from the sidewalk leading to your room,to the fence around the pool everything is old and in bad condition.Other than the bed(i like hard you better too)tv was adequate. But for 100$ plus i rather sleep in my car..shame on owner for not investing in the place,he is trying to milk the most he can before bankurptcy.I warned you do not sleep here unless in dire need of a bed...im sure your better off at a hostel cheers!…
Rented a unit with a kitchennette. Place was well equiped and very clean. No carpets which is a plus for us. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and efficient. Needs a few cosmetic touches but on the whole very satisfantory.
This is a simple place, but clean and comfortable. It has large rooms and everything is in very good shape (except some of the towels, which can be a bit threadbare). The room has everything you could want as a home base, including fridge and microwave and coffee maker. There is a fairly basic continental breakfast (yogurt would be a welcome addition), and a very large green outdoor space in the back with a pool. It met my needs completely.
Simple accommodation, no luxury, but clean and comfortable. Good location, very good italian restaurant nearby. No fuss, good place for a short stay. Nicer view on pool side rather than road side. Upgrading of towels would be a plus.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location, walking distance to local eats. Will definitely stay here again. Great price. Although breakfast was limited, it was sufficient.
Basic motel with basic everything. The room was not very clean and this place needs and update. The towels need an upgrade. The "breakfast" if you can call it that consists of toast, in drinkable coffee and horrible muffins. For what they charge per night it's a joke. $140.
We chose this roadside motel in a pinch, late at night, when other plans fell through. At one level it is what you'd expect - simple, basic. But the owner/managers were extremely friendly and helpful, the 2 rooms were impeccably clean, the continental/breakfast buffet was just fine, and there was, to our surprise, a delightful pool surrounded by nice green space in the back. I could easily have relaxed there and enjoyed the sun but we had to move on.
This motel is not new and is barely 2 stars. The beds are comfortable and the overall of the place is very clean. Breakfast has limited choice: hard boiled eggs, small store bought muffins and croissants, very basic bread, margarine, no butter. Cuttlery is plastic. Very quiet. For 2 nights, 2 double beds, 2 people we paid over $300.
The room was extremely clean and the bed comfortable. Grounds were large and lots of room for children to play. It was quiet and very nice continental breakfast. Would recommend this motel to anyone. It was very easy to find and close to some great places to eat. However would have liked to have a coffee machine in the room as breakfast wasn't until 7:30. It did have a small frig. which came in handy. Glad to see the carpet had been replaced with laminate flooring as I hate carpets in a room as they are so dirty and smelly most of the time. The owner was very courteous and though he spoke little English did quite well answering our questions.
We made our reservation by phone and were told our dog would not be an added charge. Once we arrived, the girl asked for ten dollars extra. We refused, citing our conversation. She agreed, then told us we were not entitled to the free Continental breakfast because we were paying less. The place had only liquid soap, no free lotions, shower caps, etc. Our room, nr.22, was at the end of the place since we had a dog. It was clean, w/dbl bed, small refrigerator, small sofa...basic, adequate, but not charming. Perfect for one night!
