We booked B&B Au Cafe Creme and Spa for an impulsive ski weekend in the picturesque Eastern Townships, a place we have visited multiple times and love dearly. We loved this cozy B&B with its fun Victoria decor that’s so Eastern Townships. Danielle was the perfect host making us delicious French toast and yogurt and berries one morning and Eggs Benedict with pudding and the fluffiest banana bread the next. The B&B is perfectly located in close proximity to the beautiful town of Magog. It was a 5 minute walk to Taverne 1855, an incredible resto in town with a great cocktail bar and excellent dining. Danielle gives vouchers for 20% off for most of the nearby restaurants too! We loved skiing the resorts of Owl’s Head and Orford, especially because we could climb into the hot tub with our drinks post-ski...bliss! We stayed in the Antigua room and loved it. Highly recommended all round.

What a great weekend in Magog! We were the only guests this past weekend , as others cancelled last minute given the rain forecast - which turned out to be a sunny weekend for the most part :) It was like our own private Victorian era home. Lot's of work goes into upkeeping such a place, and it was nice to see the inside and out were very well maintained. We even made use of the outdoor heated jacuzzi spa while shipping champagne one evening! We sure felt welcomed and truly cared about. As we had some activities planned for the weekend, Danielle generously offered to make reservations for us at a restaurant (fondissimo, which was very good), as well as picked up our tickets to a comedy show (Mario Jean was in town) for the Vieux Clocher. Breakfasts were made fresh and were wholesome. Given we were the only guests this past weekend, Danielle took the time to make us customized breakfasts given our preferences as well as took our food intolerances into account. This was much appreciated, as well as being delish!!! French Toast on day one was fantastic and the homemade blueberry muffins, chia coconut-milk pudding, and chocolate tofu custard with granola clusters on day 2 really blew me away! Will definitely return! Merci Danielle et Normand pour une fin de semaine memorable! I only wish we had another day or two to enjoy other activities - la prochaine fois!

I was impressed that even the smallest detail is taken into account. The owners know how to receive people well and they have done the impossible to make our stay more pleasant. The decoration and furniture reflect what once was a beautiful era! The house is very well located and everything can be done walking. Our stay was really pleasant and I would go back again! To discover!

We took a "spur of the moment " trip to Magog for 3 days of biking, golf, relaxation. Danielle, our hostess at Cafe Crème BnB, was very warm and spoke better English than we spoke French. She gave us great info on bike trails, restaurants, even referring us to a masseuse on the last day, which was great! This is a beautiful old Victorian house; rooms are small and comfortable, breakfasts are great. We loved being able to come and go without getting in the car. Just two blocks from Rue Principale, Café Crème was close to restaurants, Lakeside walking paths, shops. We would stay here again!
