Buttslade house is no longer a B&B. A loss to those of use who loved it. The current owners, as far as I know, aren't planning to open the house as a guest house. Mr Lancashire Travels and I would love to say Thank you to Diana for many happy visits to Sibford.

We stayed for three night, my wife, our daughter and me. We highly recommend Buttslade House for Diana's warmful hospitality, for the gorgeous garden. The room and its ensuite bathroom are very confortable, Diana has kindly prepared an additional cosy bed for our daughter. Diana provided us with good advices, the first evening we asked her to book a table for...

We were looking forward to staying in the twin room at Buttslade House as from the reviews and the description it sounded really lovely. I booked nearly four months in advance via email and received three pleasant emails from Diana which included assurance that the room was booked for us, a deposit was unnecessary and that it was the last...

We stayed here for a week as a family of 5. ( 1 on a camp bed ) The cottage is small downstairs but has all you need for a basic base. We had breakfast and an evening meal. No oven but 2 hobs, microwave, toaster and fridge. Upstairs there are 2 good size bedrooms. 1 with a king size...

We stayed in this superb b&b. The hospitality was second to none ,the breakfast was expertly cooked and the room was just lovely, with fluffy towels and starched bedding. The gardens finished off the place beautifully.

We had a long awaited , planned stay and had the beautiful garden room in July 2013. We were made very welcome by Diana and the extra touches homemade cake on arrival, homemade bread at breakfast are fab. Diana clearly loves welcoming people to her place and goes out of her way to be helpful. The gardens are great and...

Buttslade House is the kind of quality of b and b which puts hotels charging twice its highly competitive rates into the shade. Every element of this sophisticated country retreat from the beautiful bedrooms, the brilliant breakfast, the sumptuous gardens, the homemade jam and biscuits and the delightful village surroundings mark this out as a benchmark hospitality experience. The whole...

We booked this lovely cottage with magical gardens and a lovely host quite by accident when our original rental fell through. It was a real blessing in disguise. Diana our host was the kindest and most hospitable. Our kids enjoyed the garden and cottage as well as playing with Diana's dogs. We saw many near by attractions but were always...

We used Buttslade House as a base for our daughter's wedding in nearby Long Compton. This is a quintessential Cotswold home in a delightful village with all important village pub nearby. I would need every superlative in my vocabulary to describe how both Jan and Diana went the extra mile to ensure our wedding base was superb for the main...
