We particularly enjoyed the confort and good cleanness of the bedroom, and the outside terrasse restaurant. The swimming pool was small but very enjoyable. The mornings are very peaceful, you can enjoy your coffee in front of the aguada (lake), and you can easily observe the beautiful colorful birds flying over the lake.

Very nice and clean, perfect pool , surroundings awesome and the food was really good. Only drawback is they have to put some thing to deaden the sound of slamming doors. close to every thing and felt safe

Aguada has clean and comfortable rooms, more than reasonable pricing and knowledgeable staff. The owner/manager Shalue goes out of her way to accomodate her guests. The food is good and the location is great for accessing local attractions. Family friendly.

A pretty hotel a bit off the beaten track, you have to get a taxi to the main area but it only takes about 10 mins and is cheap. The pool was a good size as was the room. We were in a room by the lake so had a nice view, The food was fine and the breakfast was...

I come to Cayo district every November and look forward to staying at the Aguada. This was quick trip and I did not make a reservation ahead of time, I was sight seeing a local ruin and realized I would rather just spend the night than drive back to placencia. I don't recommend relying on this scenario, ( I suggest...

Stayed at the Aguada for a weekend. Really nice calm area. Quiet little grounds. Small restaurant with good Belizean food. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were ok. The bathroom was fairly clean. I was a bit skeptical about getting in the pool since the water was very foggy and hazy looking. But overall was a good weekend...

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid september 2015. Staff were helpful to both me and my partners needs, food was excellent, rooms were clean and tidy and the bedsheets were amazingly soft and smooth. Definitely felt like they used 1000+ thread count sheets. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

We stayed two nights at the Aguada. I can't say enough about it. The staff was very attentive, the food was excellent and the room was comfortable. It was a little small but that is to be expected at a budget price. This is where I will stay every time I go to Belize.

My husband and I stayed at the Aguada for 4 nights this March. On arrival, we were told we could choose one of two rooms. We were brought to look at rooms 20 and 9. We opted for room 20 because it was on the second floor tucked in a corner. The room was basic, but had everything we needed....

From there half of our group stayed behind at KenMar's B&B and the rest of us trekked on another hour to arrive tired and ready for a good sleep to The Aguada Hotel in Santa Elena. I think I speak for most of us, that despite some problems with water that were truly out of the hotels hands, it was...
