Another lovely week at Le Farat. Nick and Allison are so welcoming that it always feels like coming home. From the generous welcome gifts - which are very much appreciated- To always being there with any help or guidance needed. This was our fourth visit and we enjoyed a very relaxing stay, Gites are lovely, beds super comfy and our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the pool and trampoline! So many picturesque villages that we always love to revisit and yet find somewhere new each trip. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Le Farat in the beautiful Maison de Soleil for 7 days in August 2019. Without a doubt this was the best holiday experience we have ever had in France. Alison and Nick couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Both our kids (10 and 14 yrs) enjoyed it just as much as we did and absolutely loved the pool and games room. This is a great base from which to explore a stunning and unspoilt part of France. The gite was immaculately clean and very well provisioned - and to arrive with a selection of cheese, bread, wine and home grown produce plus a cake was very special - thanks A and N!

This is the best B&B experience we've ever had! We stayed in the garden rooms but it seems that all the accommodation is of equally high quality. Beautiful rooms, lovely facilities and gorgeous quiet surroundings. Allison and Nick are delightful hosts who seem capable of doing anything to make the stay as pleasant as possible including their generous breakfasts.

We had two nights here in their massive B & B suite. Allison is a wonderful host and gave us a wonderful welcome. Superb breakfast of fruit, cereals, yogurt, cheeses, meats, croissant, home made jam etc etc. (wonderfully French and not an English cooked breakfast in sight). Spent the morning exploring Auvillar (one of the most beautiful villages in France) and walking a small stretch of the Chemin St Jacques de Compostelle which was through lovely scenery and then spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool. Just perfect. Allison had, during our email comms, recommended their local for an evening meal - which was truly superb, and within walking distance. All in all a fabulous couple of days - and will definitely hope to visit again. Many thanks.

An absolute gem in an idyllic setting... after 25 days walking the Chemin St Jacques we arrived in paradise... every amenity one could ever need... and then there was our host Allison, who went above and beyond the call of duty to meet our every need and wish, from shopping, to restaurant bookings to a lovely packed lunch for our train journey home. A beautiful place to relax...
