I came to Drumheller a couple of years ago and stayed at the Econo Lodge because it was a great value and it was an excellent home base location for my family while we took in the sites. It surpassed my expectations back then and it was even better this time! The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and service oriented....

The Lodge is a modernised traditional motel. A bit basic but all you need for a short stay (most people will only want to spend one or two nights in the area). Breakfast was included and again was basic but adequate. Car park was a bit small for the size of the property but there was plenty of on-road parking...

We picked the Econo Lodge for an overnighter in Drumheller as it was the most reasonably priced place in the town. Drumheller’s hotel prices are quite overinflated due to the dinosaur tourism business so this place was not cheap but still the best bet in Drumheller. The area appeared fairly drab and the hotels outside is a bit aged as...

I stayed here with my husband and our 2 dogs on what was our mini honeymoon. When I called to book a room I told them that we had 2 small dogs with us, that was no issue, and I was told it would be $25 per night per dog. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, again...

First of all do not stay here it ruined our families trip. The air conditioning unit is so loud. There were loud parties as they allow long term stayers. Will make formal complaint to company as rooms smelled bad when arriving as their is no fresh air being pumped into rooms.

If you are just passing through to tour the museum and head off in the morning, the Econo Lodge is just the ticket. It's not much to look at but it is clean and reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful. The included breakfast had quite a few choices. All in all, I'd recommend it.

As should be obvious from the pics, it's a motel, not an inn or suite. It's OK for the budget price, a place to crash and move on. Pros: Nicely renovated rooms/bathrooms, 2 large Belkin power strips, location close to town center Cons: Subpar, nothing-special breakfast (didn't have any more boiled eggs or yogurt when I got there, a bit...

This certainly isn't a brand new property in Drumheller, however the pricing is right and although it feels a little glum as you drive up (considering you can see the new looking Quality Inn across the way) the room is perfect for a short stay. After doing a hotel search, I found the prices in Drumheller ridiculously high - it's...
