We were at Eagle Lake for the July long weekend. Our site was great - close to the beach, playground and washrooms. The kids LOVED feeding the animals each morning, the tractor rides on Friday and Saturday night, the Canada Day decorating, playing at the park, as well as making the musical instrument with Toni Vere. They had so much...

Thanks for the shout-out Amanda. We loved having you here and can't wait for your next visit! If it helps explain our pricing-we don't "rack 'em and stack 'em" during the busiest times like long weekends. That way the campground is only an average busy instead of crazy busy. Our events (like the feeding program, Saturday night hayrides and special...

I did not camp but attended a group get together. I found the staff to be polite, informative and precise. Kudos to them. A nice place to get away from the city, there is no doubt in my mind that I will be back again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us you enjoyed yourself. The team works hard to keep everything clean and the kids amused, I'll pass on what you said. Thanks too for recommending us. :-)

Not our best experience. Trees shed some nasty fluff that's like being in a snow storm of dandelion spores; this is probably seasonal. Lake was shallow and dirty. Got grief from some people because you can't seem to leave with a trailer while someone is at the dump station. Was a bit difficult to find. Good news was lots of...

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to comment. The white fluff you mentioned is very seasonal, generally lasting from a few days to a couple of weeks, the amount varies from year to year. It comes from fertile poplar trees. Those trees came with the property, but any trees we have planted are non-fertile and non-shedding thank goodness. I...

If you want power and water during their high season (July to Sept) they will only allow you to book it for a week at a time. I would definitely be picking a nicer campground if I wanted to stay somewhere for a week. Their pricing is high as well ($50-60/night).

Hi there, thanks for this opportunity to clarify our booking and pricing policies. Our high season (as noted on our price sheets and website) is from June 29 to August 3 inclusive, not July to September. Our low season for 2016 is from May 6 to June 28 inclusive then again from August 4 to September 10 inclusive. During the...

Everyone at Eagle lake were friendly and very helpful. It was so nice to be able to have a fire in the pavilion during our friends birthday celebration. I found the washrooms very clean. The entire grounds were kept nicely and clean. We will definitely be back.

Thanks! The weather looks great for this weekend! ;-) We do want to keep the kids busy, because a busy kid is a tired kid, and tired kids make for happy parents who can sit down for five minutes to enjoy the sunset. Great campground, well maintained and friendly staff. Had a great stay. There is a a petting zoo and a mini golf that was a lot fun. There is a lake with a beach here too. That would be awesome in the summer. If you're just during through or coming for a stay, this place is fantastic.

We were here to enjoy a family trip from Calgary, to put our JetSki in the water, and enjoy some peace and quiet. Although we got peace and quiet… What we did not get was family friendly service or Honesty. The JetSki is not able at all to go through the water. The weeds are much too high and are...
