Our reservation form stated that our room would have kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave ... three items. On arrival, our room had just a fridge and microwave tucked outside the bathroom. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that the hotel has NO kitchenette rooms. Basically, we paid for something we did not get. Buyer beware!

I sincerely apologize that you felt you were mislead. We do have one kitchenette room. All rooms have microwaves and mini-fridges. I just took over the management of this hotel and I have taken the word "kitchenette" out of all of our advertizing. I hope you will return and give us another chance when you do not require a kitchenette....

Room a little dated, although good view of river from balcony. Windows etc all need upgrading as very misted with condensation. Food very good and waitresses Monica and Tracy very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and places to see. Whilst we were there one of our chairs went missing from our balcony and the receptionist said she would...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. I'm very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the view and food and that the staff were pleasant and accommodating. You are correct that this is an older hotel, but extensive renovations are being completed on the upper floors and we will be moving forward on the entire...

Front desk very helpful at finding the best room for us. Comfy bed. and 2 chairs to relax in. Nice to be able to have balcony door open. Only drawback is no AC. Very quiet. No road noise even with door open.

Thank you for your review. We are looking at putting A/C in this year. In the past we have not needed it but with the weather changes it is getting hotter.

This hotel is an older one, but the rooms are nice, clean and the balconies all overlook the sound. Loved listening to the sounds of the ocean. Breakfast is included, bacon and eggs. We would stay here again. Very reasonable price.

This hotel is getting a bit long in the tooth...fading carpets, peeling wall paper, BUT it's clean and comfy. It just needs a bit more than just paint. The restaurant was good and if you're there for a wedding, it's an ideal place to stay.

We spent two nights here and our room was clean and had a nice view. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. If you look a little closer you will see that maintenance is lacking and the once wonderful hotel is now showing its age. Too bad. Service was good.

The beds were terrifically comfortably. I visited with my friend during the off-season, so it was quiet. The place was clean, but age was showing in the chip in the sink, the wrinkled and somewhat worn stair and hall carpets, and the stains on the bathroom ceiling. Some staff members were friendly and some cool. The configuration of the hotel...

If you're unlucky as I was you won't get a good sleep. Loud group was playing their guitar ans singing on the balcony at 11:30 at night. they continued to talk loudly past midnight. thumping of foot steps up and down the hall every few minutes. The walls don't seem to have any sound proofing in them. it seems to...

I am very sorry that other guests keep you awake. We have all night security and they would have put a end to it if called. If you had parked in the lower parking lot the elevator services all 40 rooms in the area. Again I am sorry you were not told of this.

The view is spectacular also on a rainy day; cannot even imagine how beautiful it must be when the sun shines. The management sure introduced some new elements, such as flat screen TV, but the premise is a pleasant leap back in the '80s, reminding me of my summer holidays with my mom when I was a kid. Old, however,...
