A colleague and I were put up in the Glenogle Lodge for 3 nights and it only took 20 minutes to fall in love! Doris welcomes you with a warmth that will remind you of a beloved aunt. If this isn't enough to tempt you to visit Glenogle, then come for the food!! Home cooked meals and a fully stocked...

You will not feel more welcomed staying in an accommodation than you will at Glenogle. Doris and Norbert, the German couple who own and run this establishment make you feel like family. Doris' food is absolutely incredible, no matter if it's her signature pancakes at breakfast, schnitzel for dinner or a homemade strudel for dessert. The price of both the...

As a family with 3 kids we stayed in a cabin to be self-containing and schedule-independent, since we love to do excurses at those times which suites us best. We were looking for a place around Banff and somehow were not happy with the offered locations and prices (it was high-season). So we took a chance at this place which...

We Visited family in Prince George BC and Golden BC. We travelled to Jasper, Banff on to Golden. That we happened here was a fluke. By far the Glenogle Mountain Lodge &Spa was the nicest , cleanest and LESS EXPENSIVE place to stay. The owners, Olga and Norbert Urban, are kind, down to earth and friendly to say the least....

We stayed three nights in one of the attached cabins. Doris and Norbert were incredible hosts, and very accommodating. We had our large husky with us, and the experience was excellent. Home-cooked food, cozy and clean accommodations, and peaceful scenery made it a great, relaxing stay.

The lodge is a beautiful building with lots of character and the staff literally invites you in with open arms. I have never been anywhere, where you have felt so welcomed. The atmosphere was comparable to going to a long lost family's home not a resort. The meals were fantastic. It was as though we were being treated to Grandma's...

Glenogle is a bit of Bavaria with its natural wood walls and floors and beautiful views of the surrounding green woods. The rooms in the lodge were large, many with decks looking out into the surrounding valley, decorated with interesting frills and were spotless. Family cabins with kitchens were available as well. The breakfast was an ample one with eggs,...

We stayed at Glenogle Mountain Lodge for 4 nights and enjoyed our time there. We were greeted by Doris with a hug and kiss! She made us a wonderful vegetarian breakfast each morning! Her specialty of the oatmeal pancakes are worth getting out of bed for in the morning! We had a nice room on the main floor with a...

Doris welcomed us with open arms and on short notice, which we greatly appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Our 1 year old son loved all of the beautiful flowers and had a great time at the creek just a short walk up the road. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The sausage patties and...
