We were there in the summer and it was a laid back atmosphere where you could get a drink, get some amazing french fries (skin on and dipped in mayo, yummy), but best of all, they have Jenga. Not regular Jenga but Jenga made...

I actually got angry reading any of the negative reviews, since this place was like a haven, retreat for us..It is off the beaten path, quiet, and the rooms amazing. I never slept so good!!! LOVE this place. I found the staff, owners, very kind and friendly, It was by far the best place we stayed. luxurious. yet, like home...

After riding our motorcycles for 7 hours, we arrived at this wonderful oasis! Our room was a dream come true! The f&b, service, and atmosphere in the pub was great too! Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to our friends and family!

Our room was fantastic. The first night we had a shower room and the second night we upgraded to one of the rooms with the jetted tub. Both were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The common room was great for relaxing and board games. The breakfast was good and the spa services were quite relaxing and easy to...

We attended a wedding at Winston Lodge, it was such a lovely place! Great rooms, the atmosphere of a personal large lodge, but accommodations of a hotel. Nice rooms with great balconies, bathrooms, duvets, beds, bar/restaurant attached had excellent food and atmosphere. Both living room and bar had lots of games for kids and adults alike to play (e.g. giant...

Overall, we had a good experience. Place is pleasing. Room is nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable. We will be back, if we are back in the area. Having said that I have the following objections: 1) not enough lighting in room and not enough lighting in common lobby. 2) You have to take your shoes off and use the slippers...

There was a small issue with my reservation. Meaning, I had used this booking service many times over many years before without any problems at all. This particular hotel owner made a big deal about a small issue. When I tried to fix the problem, via my booking company, the owner of this hotel was difficult to deal with. It...

Wow, I am shocked that this review was allowed to be posted. This guest did not stay with us. The information he or she was given was second hand via a booking service. They have no first hand knowledge of what we are like or what it's like to stay here. Please remove this review.

Golden was booked solid but surprisingly, this well-reviewed inn had a room for us. It was a dark and stormy night and a roaring fire greeted us in the charming lodge. Very comfortable bed, plush robes, nice simple breakfast - all enjoyed in a relaxed environment. Gorgeous views, well worth the drive up the mountain. (And I like the use...

As our trip to AB cut short with heavy rains, we decided to stop in Golden. Ofcourse every hotel/moten/inn were full. After 45 minutes of no luck, we gave this lodge a try, even thou it's up at the ski resort, better than driving at midnight to AB. Glad we did try as we were able to get a good...
