Well for starters the owner has drug addicts living in the rooms everywhere. they smoke outside their rooms which blows int your room via the ac unit/fan. the bathtub was black guess they never heard of a magic eraser. there were also silverfish in the bathroom and by the sink there was boogers and blood on the wall. the paint was cracking and there were holes in the wall everywhere. And for a finisher i need late checkout the next day and he had the gall to make me pay $30 for an extra 4 hours which i talked him down from $40 even through the rooms cannot be rented out for the next 3 days anyways because of covid restrictions . do yourself a favor go down the street to best western and spend the extra $20 do not be cheap skate like i was

After being given 3 different rooms, I finally got one that didn't have water on the floor from plumbing issues. Maintenance seems to be done by the owners or their family members, all of whom have never watched a YouTube video of how to do it but they try to repair some of the glaring problems here. On the good side, the sheets were clean and of fairly good quality. TV remotes had dead batteries, heaters for rooms were difficult to control if they worked at all, stairways to the second floor were decrepit and worn out, doors and door jambs were damaged and had suffered from possible break-ins.

It’s the middle of summer, so there is not a lot to choose from in Mission. This place was available, so we committed. It’s obvious they make there revenue during this time of year. I’m not sure how they survive for the other months. The furniture was old and sparse. The carpet hasn’t seen a cleaner in years. On the positive side, the gentleman at the from desk was was nice. The rooms were clean. And it’s convenient to restaurants and shopping.

ZERO STARS! Arrived after flying around BC all day saving lives to the most ignorant and rude owner/employee. Because we drove an hour and a half from YVR to Mission as all hotels in greater Vancouver were full, we arrived 20 minutes after the 11pm checkin cut off even though staff were still there. We knocked on the door and we were told we were late and no refunds. I told him we were air ambulance and had been flying all day and just wanted a bed, he said no and no refunds then closed and locked the door on us! I would never recommend this place and will continue to share this review. Horrible staff/owner.

My husband found this hotel online, checked out the pics and thought they looked decent, so called and booked a room. While on the phone, the owner stated 3 times that there were "no refunds without 24 hours notice". We needed it for the following day, so weren't overly worried about a refund, just happy we were able to get a room that was cheap and looked clean from the pics we saw online. We are not fussy and did not expect anything elaborate for the $89 price/night. However, upon signing in, the man behind the counter was on the phone, yelling at someone and there was a drunk or stoned guy sitting on the couch in the lobby that clearly a 'situation' was happening with him getting kicked out of the hotel. We got our key and walked past two people were obviously drunk and were smoking and standing in our way, as we tried to get around them with our luggage to get upstairs. We opened the room door to be overwhelmed with the stench of smoke so bad we started coughing. We were not able to open the window for fresh air. There was a portable mini fridge and microwave sitting on the floor, unplugged with no note stating if it was workable, or broken. The quilt on the bed was stained. There were stains (of what, I have no idea but they were dark) on the couch and there was a coffee maker but no supplies had been left, so I assume you would have to purchase them or ask for them at the front desk. The bathroom was disgusting. Caulking smeared all over the tiles on the wall (patchwork fixes, I guess) but they had mold growing in between. The toilet seat was unhinged, so if you sat on it, you would go flying. The sink had been shattered at one point, and poorly re-glazed so you could see all the cracks and gross dirt etc. We peeled back the quilt on the bed to look at the sheets (and if the rest of the place wasn't enough to gross us out), the sheets were stained. That was the tip of the iceberg. We went back to the lobby within 5mins of signing in and gave the man our key. Stated we would not be staying there. We were not expecting a refund (as he was clear on the phone that no refunds would be given) but we did tell him we would be reporting this instance. His only attempt at rectifying the situation was to offer another room. When my husband asked if the other rooms were better than this one or at least clean, he literally shook his head and said no??!! We left and were fortunate enough to find one remaining room at the Best Western in Mission (the Best Western we WOULD highly recommend).

There are only 3 places to stay in Mission and the best one was booked . We were there to celebrate our great granddaughter's 2nd Birthday . We thought oh well it's only one night and how bad could it be . We're not terribly fussy people, but this was the worst I've ever seen . An old fridge in the corner of the room with an old microwave sitting on top. ( neither were operable just stuck there ) There was a coffee maker on the desk but you had to unplug the lamp to use it . Only one plug in the whole room. One dim light bulb in the ceiling. The other guests ( if you could call them that) were questionable . We ended up checking out about an hour of being there. Drove all the way home rather than spend one night.

At first glance, we thought this motel had really improved. A nice big room, with fridge, microwave, 2 queen beds, new flat screen T.V. and even a coffee pot. Newer towels and bed linens. But once we'd been there for an hour or so, we realized that it's no better. We paid $83 with tax, and it wasn't worth half that. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, there was a long hair in the tub, and the tv picture only filled half the screen, and kept cutting off. The internet was slow, and also kept cutting off. There were a limited number of electrical outlets, so first we tried the coffee pot on the floor by the door, then moved it to the dresser, where we had to unplug the phone to use the outlet there.

This was our second visit here, and we thought we'd take a chance, since the Best Western has been disappointing lately. The manager advised me to take a second floor room if we wanted better internet, so we took room # 205 and it was such an improvement over last time ! It's a huge room , with 2 really comfortable beds, very clean, and quite quiet. The heater/cooler seemed quite new and was fairly quiet too. The only compaints are that they really need a bedside table, between the two beds, and a clock. The shower was very clean, and had great water pressure, but the floor was really squeaky, sounding like we could fall through. A second pouch of coffee would be nice, too. The internet kept cutting off, so taking a second floor room for better internet didn't pan out. We will be back !
