We stayed in a one king room, found that it was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Motel is technically outside town (thus the North Shore name ;) ), but only a short drive across the B.O.B. (big orange bridge), with a nice view across the lake toward town. Rooms are getting dated, but rates are quite reasonable. My...

We had a very nice and pleasant stay at North Shore Inn the staff was great and they really make it sure that the hotel is presentable and neat for the guests. We would definitively go back to this place if we go back to Nelson take in consideration that it is not a Hotel it is a Motel there...

We stayed here for a night on our way to Kaslo. Was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view from our balcony.Free coffee in the lobby anytime you wanted it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. By no means fancy but great for a stopover and close to town but not right in town so it was quiet.

It is clear the owner has stuffed a lot of money and time into this Inn. You can tell they pay attention to details as the whole place is very organized and clean. I travel lots for work and was hesitant to stay here but I have to say I am impressed. Hats off to the owners and staff. Well...

we stayed in Nelson this summer and were amazed by the view and by the great room. The only room on our vacation where all 5 family members had space, and didn't feel crowded. Front desk staff were super helpful : giving suggestions on things to do and see while we were in town. We would LOVE to come back...

We booked here because of other reviews and great price (King room for $94 at the time we booked). I was a little bit nervous because I am a hotel snob, but this inn pleasantly surprised me! We loved the location as it was away from the craziness of downtown (just on other side of bridge- about 5 min drive),...

We stayed one night in a room with two queen beds. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The fridge inside the room was handy. The staff were helpful and very friendly. It took us minutes to walk across the bridge to the Lakeside park for a morning walk on the path system. The drive to downtown was 9 minutes...

We were a family of three so our room with two Queen beds was more than enough. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lake. We were able to make coffee in reception all day long but as our room was on the second floor it would have been easier if we'd had coffee/tea making facilities...

An oldy but a goody. Great views from the North Shore Inn. Very economically and clean. Didn't mind going down the stairs for the fresh coffee in the morning. The staff on duty when we arrived was very friendly and accommodating. First time I had to pay extra for my 11 year old but I was aware of this before...

We rolled into Nelson last night without reservations. I see no point spending $200/night for a room I'll only sleep in for a few hours so at $95 the North Shore Inn fit my needs perfectly. The beds were clean, the showers were hot, and the staff was friendly. What more does a person really need ? The free coffee...
