Mike and Jean the chatty hosts at the award winning Blue Haven B and B have put the property up for sale. That might, or might not affect your decision to book. In the meantime until they sell enjoy yourselves.

We recently spent 4 weeks touring Canada and stayed in 10 different hotels, motels, and B & B from Vancouver to Calgary and by far the best was Blue Haven. The room was lovely, overlooking the garden and Jean & Mike could not do enough for us. Lots of tips and suggestions. Jean is a fantastic cook and the breakfasts... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring and what a good choice it was !! The whole place was wonderful. We had the Magnolia Room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It has it's own porch where you can sit and admire the well-kept rear garden. There was a hot tub available although we did not use it.... More

Sadly we only spent one night at the Blue Haven B&B on our way up to Telegraph Cove. Mike and Jean were perfect hosts. The double bedroom was delightful, with access to your own porch overlooking a beautiful garden. Breakfast was very enjoyable. We were genuinely sorry that we couldn't stay longer. A real treasure.

Very congenial hosts. We felt right at home. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was large and delicious. The chatty hosts gave info on eating places and sightseeing. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the sunshine. There was a hot tub available. We enjoyed our stay.

Stay - 27/8/14 - 28/8/14 Positives - one night cannot do justice to such a great place - Mike and Jean having lived for sometime in the Midlands (UK), as we do, shared some great memories in a B&B which I would describe has like living at home - they made us feel really welcome and when I said we... Mike is the morning entertainment, and a good one at that! He has many stories to share and suggestions for his guests who are travelling in the area. Our room, overlooking the back garden, was small but adequate. I looked for a place to sit and must admit there is a sitting area at the front of the house, open... More

We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. Mike and Jean are great hosts, the breakfast was delicious and we got good advice regarding a whale watch company and other places to visit. Both Mike and Jean showed a real interest in us as their guests, making us feel very welcome. Also very important, the room was spacious,... More

Stayed here in early June and found Mike and Jean to be as amazing as their B&B. The rooms, awesome location, hospitality, and beautiful garden like setting was just magnificent. The hosts are so friendly and engaging as they make you feel like friends and not just clients. This is a small piece of paradise and I would recommend it... More

We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was excellent with an outfitted kitchen. We only stayed one night but it would suit any length of stay. Frontroom area very comfortable with a TV and gas fireplace. They really have to address the one bedroom - the floor was so squeaky when you would walk on it. We were in... More
