My friend and I were greeted with a massive smile and incredible service at Poppi's Guesthouse. The place is super clean, cozy, and affordable. Its hostel style accommodation is made even better with private rooms so you get the best of both worlds! Enjoy a shared kitchen, living space, and games room while socializing with others, and then tuck into... More

This hostel was more like a B&B! The rooms were lovely and clean with large spacious shared living, dining and kitchen areas. It was perfectly located and convenient to get into the centre of Revelstoke. The prices were really good and you get a complimentary pass to the aquatics centre which is great fun.

This hostel was pretty much like student accommodation, but a bit cleaner! There is a communal kitchen and living area, with books, cds, TV and all the cooking equipment that you need. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, our room was small, with a comfortable 5ft futon type bed pushed against a wall, a bedside cabinet, a chair and a chest... More

The bed was decent but rather futon-like. The room we stayed in (pyramid room) was tiny. The shared bathrooms, kitchen and living room were fine. Poppi was really sweet. It was so hot in Revelstoke though that even with the air conditioning unit, we were sweaty.

Thank you for your kind words. I generally try to make improvements based on my guests' feedback, but unfortunately, in this case there is nothing I can do about the Pyramid room being small. I have canvassed my guests as to whether they would prefer a double bed in the room so that it would have more space, but they... More

I was here for 3 days and I fully enjoyed my stay. Poppi is very open and has a lot of information on what to do in Revelstoke. It really was a comfortable, clean and cozy stay. I used 1 of the 3 bikes that she has to offer and was able to go around town and explore the entire... More

What a lovely place! Poppi is such a warm and welcoming person and made us feel right at home. She put a lot of time and effort into the place, everything is decorated thoughtfully, the place is very clean, too. Our bed is very comfortable, the common areas are super cosy, and the hostel is within walking distance of the... More

Stayed with my husband, 3.5 year old and 9 month old and had a good experience. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, with certain staples available. There was a comfy living room with movies for our toddler, as well as a games-type room. Hostel was quiet; no issues with other guests. It was nice they accommodate a family with... More

The perfect stopover between Alberta Rockies & Kelowna. The value for money allowed me to I stay for 6 nights and explore the area whilst relax and enjoy the city. Poppi was very accommodating and provided great local advice on the area.

We stayed at Poppi's on town separate occasions and loved it both times. It has a real homely feel with a nice sitting room that a pellet boiler keeps warm and cosy. There is another sitting room that has a table hockey game and boot driers which are brilliant after a day on the hill. Location wise it is a... More

We staid in the Canadian Rockies room. It was comfortable and had just enough room for our stuff to be spilling of out our bags. There was a bit of noise, especially from the train, coming in the open windows, but is part of the charm of Revelstoke. The kitchen is large and there is plenty of living room space... More
