I found the staff friendly and helpful. It was clean and the view good. My main concern was the location of the cabins. I am worried they are much to close to the mini golf and horseshoe pits and would be noisy I was there in off season and I would be hesitant to book a cabin in high season...

This is not a hotel -- this is a KOA campground. We parked our Roadtrek and stayed in a Kamping Kabin. We echo other favorable reviews. The staff were EXCELLENT. We stayed for a week because this was so centrally located we could travel from here to all sites on the island. We will come back again.

Beautiful scenery, great location central Cape Breton Island. Did Cabot trail one day (could take 2 days or more) then traveled east to Loiusburg one day. Left our camper on site so back roads were easy to access while sightseeing. Very easy to locate this KOA. The campground on the side of Bras D'or Lake is very unique with wonderful...

This camp site was a pleasant surprise, it was quiet despite being pretty full. The way the sites are terraced gives a greater sense of privacy & although each site isn't huge you feel you have your own space.. The view did it for me sitting at the fire pit overlooking the water was fabulous. The children could jump off...

This campground is well located within 20 mins of all amenities. It is well laid out, with gorgeous views of the Bras D'or lakes. When you stay at KOA campgrounds you do get spoiled, this one is a little less well manicured than others, but the location and beautiful vistas definitively make up for it. My kids wished there was...

We stayed 5 nights at this KOA. We were brand new campers. What a beautiful first time experience. Jason and Bonnie have a real gem location. They and their right hand man Ian were awesome. From the minute we booked (5 weeks prior) to the time we left their property. We were escorted to our site, Ian helped us get...

Nice campground and enough far from the road and bridge. Traffic is not heavy and that area. The bathrooms are always clean and showers big enough. The campground did not offer a lot of activities for kids. Not close from grocery or services, organize your meals ! We have appreciated our stay.

Very friendly hosts. Very good service and very helpful as well. I would highly recommend this stopover. Very close to the Cabot Trail and the Newfoundland ferry. Great view from many close lookout areas

Great views of the waterway. Very friendly and accommodating host. We stayed 1 night mid September 2015 and it was not very crowded. We wanted a non-service sight with a view and they graciously put me on the upper terrace which had a fantastic view despite these being serviced sites. Only downside to this campground is the highway noise. It's...

J and Bonnie, were our hosts for five days. They were very helpful and accommodating. They seem really intent on First of all, the site is spectacular! It is a terraced site, carved out of Kelly's mountain. The site faces south over the channel, so you get to see ships and trawlers going past. The park has a wee beach...
