With the demise of the ferry services to the States over the years it appears that many of the hotels and motels in the Yarmouth area have suffered - places I've stayed before have been shuttered. We booked two separate nights at the Voyageur - one on our arrival on the CAT Ferry and another on the night before our...

We were disappointed of what we got for the price, no A/C . Would charge $10 more for a A/C room The price is high because of the Yarmouth / Portland ferry bringing travelers from USA The motel is family own and people at reception are very nice and friendly.

Our room was old and kinda' grungy. The lady (in the wheelchair) at the front desk told me when we arrived that she only had one room left, which was a smoking room, Being a smoker,( I never smoke inside) that was ok with me BUT the parking lot stayed close to empty all night so what she did, as...

We booked the honeymoon suite and we're shocked at the awesome space you get for the lovely couple who book the room. The jacuzzi was very relaxing, albeit a little older looking but nonetheless the room was very updated and comfy with the king bed and lounge area:) would stay there again in a heartbeat, enjoyed every minute of it and...

We stayed one night at the Voyageur Hotel. We were in room 34 (I believe). It was the last room, and had a queen bed and a sofa-bed, which was perfect for the 3 of us. There was a fridge, TV and A/C. Breakfast was included. This was mostly muffins and coffee, but there were several other things too. The...

Very convenient for a walk to the bay with clean but as others noted very dated furniture and carpets. Host was wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Good morning continental breakfast with opportunities to share a conversation with fellow travelers.

we found the room lacking some of the amenities we usually have elsewhere. The room was clean but with very dated chairs. We had no air conditioning on a hot weekend. There was no in room coffee machine or hair dryer.

We found the room a bit musty, but clean. After a few minutes of open windows it was fine. It definitely needs some sprucing up; most of the interiors look to be about 1975. Lovely greeting by our hostess. Overall, a decent stopover while we waited for the ferry.

The highlight of our stay was the friendly chat at check in. Upon entering our room we were surprised there was no air conditioning. As it was a very warm day, the fan just didn't really cut it. The room had comfortable beds, a microwave and fridge but was really dated. In reading the reviews I guess some rooms have...

Room smelled of dirty racoons smoking cigarettes. 2 ashtrays in the room were clearly being used. Carpet, 1 of the sources of said smell, looked 50 years old. two chairs in room, another source of smell, you couldn't pay me to sit on. Slept very little due to itchy feeling as I slept. Showered early next morning with extra vigor...
