House keeping excellent, my suite was clean, and well maintained. Overall the entire Inn is a great place for a quiet stay. The morning breakfast of fresh cooked bacon and eggs etc. We dinned one night, and the breaded veal was tender and juicy.

We have been to this restaurant a few times as it is a favourite of my parents. It is traditional, with white linen table cloths in a fairly formal atmosphere of an old Victorian mansion. The gardens are pretty and the house impressive. The staff are longstanding and professional. I think it is an excellent restaurant in its category of...

The Woodlawn is a great historic Inn nestled in the quiet town of Cobourg. My wife and I enjoyed our two day get-away. The rooms were tastefully decorated reflecting the time the Inn was built. We had dinner at the Inn and really enjoyed the service, menu and extensive wine list. Would definitely stay at the Woodlawn again.

I needed to book this last minute a few days prior because of a family emergency and picked up a great deal on a competitor's site. I also benefited from the excellent exchange rate from USD to CAD -- otherwise, I'm not sure this would have been quite as worth the money. (aside: this is one of the fanciest B&Bs...

Cobourg offers very few hotel and restaurant options but the Woodlawn Inn is a real gem. The building was built in the 19th century and renovated into a hotel in the 1980's. On the trendy scale, it's at opposite ends of the "W" hotels, and that's just fine. Cracking hard wood floors, comfortable rooms with a gas fireplace, etc. And...

Although we live nearby, we decided to go to the Woodlawn as a mini-escape over Valentine's Day. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and the rooms were gorgeous. The living area had a fireplace working double-time to keep the room warm in -40 degree weather, with comfortable seating and thoughtful amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room very...
