We picked The Breakers because it is dog-friendly and we intended this trip to include Freddie, our seven-year old mix Maltese-Bichon. It was also directly by the water.
The pics on the website don't do the place justice! Our "basic" room was quite large with...More
I was traveling with my husband on a trip back home to Canada. I wanted him to see Niagara Falls, so we worked in a little road trip within our overall trip. Being from Berlin, he's not as used to "long drives" as we are...More

All the rooms are close to the lake, there is a private sandy beach and the garden has chits, tables, BBQs with free charcoal for use by the guests. It is a short pleasant walk through Victoria Park to the downtown with its shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants see the restaurant section on TripAdvisor. Breakers website shows the room rates by the season. You appear to live in or near to Cobourg so why not ring them and visit.
I hope this helps.
