We unfortunately picked one of the coldest weeks this year for a winter holiday. Fortunately we picked a resort than gave us a refuge from the cold. We enjoyed our fireplace, cosy beds, and well equipped kitchen. the view of the lake was stunning. Staff kept the road, rink and tubing hill in great condition despite the cold and snow....

A beautiful location with lots to do. Facilities are clean and well equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. We skated, tubed, swam, played pool, ping pong and other games, watched movies, played board games ----- all provided by the resort. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We had a wonderful week In the resort. The accommodations were excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful and even in the off season the resort had lots of activities to do. I especially was grateful for the many extra's such as coffee filters, paper towels, dish washing soap and even Kleenex etc. You seldom find all those items...

My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying the peak foliage season in Lake of Bays region. Our two bedroom cottage had all the amenities - up-to-date kitchen appliances and great Muskoka room. Two LCD tvs - one in master bedroom and one in the living room. Most of all, we loved kayaking (free for guests), playing tennis, and...

We enjoyed a week at bwa thus past August with our family (two under the age of 8) as well as two other families. All three families stayed in different styled cottages but when it came down to the overall experience, the actual accommodation played a small roll. The grounds, beach, dock, games room, pool, playground and hiking trail were...

If the weather is cool and damp, the old cottage is not a good place to be. The people are really nice and helpful as they can be and the area is spectacular. Lots to do when the weather is good. We were there for outdoor activities but the weather was not cooperating.

We stayed in a Deerview cottage on a timeshare exchange for a week in July. The location is spectacular if you want that Muskoka cottage feel. Quick access to Lake of Bays on property and a slip for my boat was included in the week. Use of all of their non-motorized boats was included. This was a perfect spot for...

Nice, well groomed area. Good facilities. Helpful reception. Traditional Cottage OLD. Needs work. OR should not charge so much. Small, outdated, almost useless TV with one channel only. Cockroaches and other bugs in the cottage. Place needs fumigation. Watch your food. Do not leave it open. Rickety old furniture. No AC. Just one fan. For these reasons, I would NOT...

We regret that this guest rated us so harshly and wish this person had come to the office to report the complaints at the beginning of the stay so that we may have tried to rectify any problems. This guest rated us positively on a number of factors including service, but appears to have been particularly upset that some insects...

We stayed at Blue Water Acres for a week in the month of May 2013. The cottage we had was a 2 BR Deerview, and it is called Deerview because twice we viewed Deers passing by from the window. We find it a perfect place to relax because they had all the amenities you need if you have Kids. Playground,...

My family stayed at Blue Water Acres over the March school break. We were delighted with our stay in the well appointed and generously sized Meadowvale unit. This is one of the cottages that is also available for fractional ownership. It is not always easy to keep 3 teenagers occupied, but this resort had a lot to offer both on...
