From arrival to departure, it was fantastic all around. We went on a spur of the moment. end of summer quick getaway and were pleasantly surprised. Very laid back atmosphere and completely rustic location. Isolated in the woods. yet very close to the city and a fantastic view of the water from our 2 bedroom cabin. Went to the patio...

My wife and I were boating recently and happened to past the Glen Burney patio area. For a place that burned down lately providing a patio atmosphere with lunch and dinner, I was impressed. We were greeted at the dock with a warm welcome and given all the information regarding the lodge and patio . We had a drink and...

Glenn Burney Lodge and Patio Restaurant has exceeded my expectations once again. Glenn Burney Patio provides a fine dining experience with a laid back vibe. The menu offers a variety of food options at a very reasonable cost, which is sure to please everyone. The servers greet everyone with a smile and even offer assistance with docking the boat when...

Stopped at the patio for a drink and quick bite to eat after hearing great things about their food and atmosphere. We were served a drink quickly enough and then order a simple snack (chicken wings and fries) Over an hour later.... no sign of food and no one came back to even to offer another drink. There were two...

If only he owners could clean it up and update the website, it wouldn't be so bad. I would have given a better rating if it were called Glenn Burney cabins in the woods. The website is completely outdated. The lodge burned down and we were under the impression (from the photos and services offered on website) that there must...

This was a find for sure, but a little hard to find! The Lodge is up the hill from the marina and a right turn on a steep corner, so keep your eyes peeled for the small sign for Glen-Burney Lodge at the inconspicuous entrance. At the end of the gravel drive park your car in one of the few...

This weekend went down there and had a cabin that has one double bed. The cabin is nice and cozy (plus we looooved the style of it), it had everything that could possibly be necessary: fridge, microwave, coffee machine, nice towels, BBQ outside and even small super thoughtful things like lightener, repellent, and whole bunch of other stuff. The people...

Excellent location with great scenic views. Cabin in the woods is a place to sleep. Comfortable and warm. Great deck and facility by the lake. Incredible location for a wedding or family holiday. Paradise for boats and enough of a passing parade to be interesting but not intrusive. Would like to explore more of the area.

This past week on November 19, 2013, Glenn Burney Lodge burned to the ground. The only thing left is the chimney of the fireplace. This is a huge loss not only to the owners but to all of us who loved this place and either stayed there or dropped in for some of the most wonderful meals. The old place...

Had the pleasure of spending an autumn weekend up near Parry Sound, Ontario at the Glenn-Burney Lodge. It was a beautiful hilltop place with a number of different rooms, cabins and cottages, it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was nicely furnished and the view of the fall colours spectacular. Our hosts were most accommodating and even arranged a two hour...
