Sue and Dave are the perfect hosts. Its magic from the moment you pull up to the door. The mountain views are breathtaking and the house is gorgeous. Its close to everything from the grocery store to the trail head. The two storey fireplace is as warm and welcoming as Sue and Dave's casual conversation. The breakfast is second to... More

My girlfriend and I visit canmore often and have stayed at many of the hotels there. This time, we decided to try a B&B. The Ambleside B&B was excellent. Sue and Dave made our stay there one of the most memorable yet in Canmore. The room we had was excellent, the breakfast was just awesome, and the hosts better yet.... More

Sue and Dave's will provide you with great advices and amazing food ( healthy, creative and tastes great!). Their home has a unique warm mountainy cosy atmosphere. Everything is really clean, and well thought. We really appreciated all the above, in addition to their flexibility and generosity. We highly recommend them as your host for your stay in Canmore! I had a chance to spend two weeks with Sue and Dave who proved to be the most trustworthy, gracious, congenial and helpful hosts. The moment we met at Calgary airport I realised that my Canmore stay would be something very special. Yes, my hosts picked me up there and their welcome made me feel on holidays from the first... Sue and Dave are the perfect hosts serving sumptuous breakasts changing daily. Their sausage and apple quiche is to die for and each breakfast finished off with either scones, muffins, etc where you can take some out with you if too full up. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished quiet home, just 10 minutes walk to some very good restaurants and a... More

We were unlucky enough to have unseasonal cold, wet weather and were there for the hiking. The host, Dave, is a local guide with a wealth of knowledge and somehow managed to send us somewhere interesting every day despite rain and snow. Had the weather been better, he would have also have taken us out somewhere himself. He also provided... More

Everything that's been said before about this B&B is true. Probably the best we've experienced in North America. Dave and Sue feel like old friends.
