Lovely cottage, we stayed in The Dairy, disabled access bathroom, tea, coffee and essentials provided. Fantastic heating system, so cosy but we had to turn it down. Food nice in the pub , 3 minute walk. All made even better by meeting friends there, welcome from host was perfect. Sat nav a little off in the area but if you...

When we arrived at Tirril Farm, Trish welcomed us like family and showed us round. We were booked into The Stables, which has a well equipped kitchen, and a large lounge. The bedroom is downstairs and very comfortable with a delightful ensuite bathroom. The cottages are well situated and easy to find, they are a short walk down to the...

On arrival there was tea, coffee and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge. There was also a home made lemon cake which was a really nice touch....

Charming collection of converted farm buildings with great standard of facilities. Good quality bathroom, useful washing machine and excellent kitchen. Well located for Penrith, Keswick and the Northern Lakes and good starting point for getting to the central and southern Lake District. I've stayed in different buildings over the years and its amazing at these prices to have your own...

My partner organised this most recent trip for New Year and what turned out to be our engagement. We stayed in the Bull Pen which was lovely. The owner had baked us a lovely...

This was our second visit to the cottages, and once again we had no complaints. We stayed in the Stables this time around which was perfect for the two of us along with our young baby (proper cot provided). We were greeted on arrival by Trish who guided us through the accommodation and David took the time to pop in...

Stayed in Stables. The warm welcome from Trish with a homemade chocolate cake was very special. Cottage is great, good bathroom with tube, fully equiped kitchen even fresh milk in the fridge ! Wifi works only near the window but that's really the only negative I can think about. Large bedroom with comfortable beds. Tirril is a very good starting...
