We ended up here as a last resort as it was the only room available anywhere near/in the mountains and our previously booked hotel had overbooked and canceled on us. We knew we were settling but didn't have any other option. I would have rather slept in our van and saved the $240! The sign on the front door to...

A run of the mill motel that is somewhat maintained and economical. I find it odd that they have no air conditioning in the rooms. The furniture is old but nice. One redeeming trait is the back parking lot. If you are travelling with a trailer this may be the place to consider in the Canmore area depending on the...

We stayed at this place whilst on the road. On check in the host greeted us chewing a mouthful of food. The room was stale smelling, the bed and pillows uncomfortable and we were woken by mice in the room during the night. When I reported the mice the manager simply shrugged it off without an apology or offer of...

It is far from Banff, the room was small, there was no bath tub just a tiny shower. It was a sweltering hot day and there was no air conditioning. I was in an upstairs room and it was very hot with no air flowing even with the window open. There was no coffee in the room, no breakfast. All...

$150 for an average bed for the night BUT no drinkable water, no breakfast, not even a coffee . . . Poor . . . On a saturday near Canmore it was the last available place, Hardly surprising ! On the good side the Husky next door has coffee and a well priced breakfast.

Clean and convenient but don't expect much more. Good for a cheap 1 or 2 night stay near the park or last chance lodging on your way by. But if you're looking for extras, you won't find them here. A dated building providing a minimal service in an antiquated, sleepy, mountain-side community. If you're okay with that, it'll be just...

Although this place needs some renos and updating, it is always fairly priced ($50-$100 depending on season). A good place for a stop over, and pet friendly. Great to see a wheelchair accessible room with a fairly new shower.

Firstly, we booked the room, and the following morning my son was sick. I called to cancel and they said no. I called the online booking company and they tried. They said the owner was not sympathetic at all. So we came in, not wanting to waste the $150 and I once again, told him my son is sick. My...

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was very clean. We got a great deal which is why we stayed for so long. Made friends in the communal kitchen. The only downfall is the highway is noisy but only during the day (quiet at night) Big Horn has lots of character. Thank you
