This hotel is located right in the city center. We stayed there one night on our way to Livigno from Milan. The rooms are newly renovated with a small kitchenette. There was no elevator so luggage had to be carried up the stairs. There is a small café on the street level where a good selection of breakfast is served. All in all, a nice hotel with a friendly owner.

Often our guests break their journey to Livigno by staying one night with us. Often their arrival at the hotel is at night, as they arrive from the airport of Orio al Serio or Malpensa. We welcome them and give them indications for late check-in. The lift is present in the main building and in two dependance (just 50 meters away) but is not present in the new "Rododendro" dependance, annexed to the hotel. We advise our guests to have a light baggage for the night only and not to unload the other baggage (the area is very quiet and under video-surveillance). Cristina and Simona

I had booked this hotel for Christmas but wasn’t unable to make the trip at the last minute. I just wanted to thank the owners who were extremely accommodating of my situation and made a special effort to help me cancel without penalizing me for cancellation fees. It’s rare to see such a level of customer service these days. Looking forward to booking a stay with them next time

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and I rate it extremely highly. It punches well above its weight in terms of the room quality for the price. The beds are comfortable and there is a decent choice of good quality food for breakfast. The town is small and appearling with a few bars and one restaurant and a pizzeria. The service of the hoteliers is the real shining light though. A friendly and incredibly helpful group of people that go above and beyond and could teach many of the finest hotels how to care for customers. Thanks, you should be proud of your business.

We are currently staying at the Hotel Caffe Garni le Corte where the ONLY thing to rival the quality of the establishment and our room is the friendliness and courtiousness of all the staff. Please stay here if only to prove it to yourselves. Rod and Bev Lewis, Sydney Australia

The Hotel Garni Le Corti is actually in Grosotto not Grosio as Tripadvisor suggests. We found this beautiful little (9 rooms only) hotel to be the friendliest we have ever stayed at. The staff were like family and helped us with so much that we feel indebted to them all. The hotel has recently (2003 I think) been rebuilt and has spacious, well appointed rooms with lavish, large ensuite bathrooms, each with shower, toilet, bidet and vanity basin. Our bed was king double and very comfortable and clean. It serves as a cafe/bar downstairs and is a pleasant meeting point for locals. Breakfast is included in the reasonable tariff and is basic - cereal, toast, juice, cheese, biscuits, and coffee. Internet is free in the rooms - plug in not wireless, a little slow but quite adequate. We had previously stayed in Tirano (nearest large town) but could not find any nice hotel there. This is well worth staying at - recommend with confidence. The village of Grosotto is delightful with history to astound. There are various cafes and bars with no rough areas at all - all nice people in this village. Only two restaurants, both good - the one we found best was on the edge of town - don't be put off by the fact that it claims to be American Style Bar. It is excellent and great value.
