When we got to San Quirico and saw the town, the main square, and the outside of the hotel, we were prepared to be disappointed. It's a small town, there's a gas station in the center of the piazza, and if you're looking for the hotel - well, the sign mostly indicates the restaurant: Ristorante La Vecchia Fonte. In fact,...

The albergo has rooms above the restaurant. They are large and airy with sunny terraces. The room was clean and well presented. The town is small and quiet but ideally situated for exploring the ancient abandoned city of Vertozza.
