Went with a lot if expectations especially for the food. Nothing great in taste, presentation was professional though. The service left much to be desired. Surprisingly they said they had no wine tasting menu. The merlot wine was good though.

Halasi panzio is lovely little hotel with delightful rooms with stylish old furniture with the smell of past. Our rooom was big enough with nice spacious bathroom. Really annoying is noise from the street, even at 5-6 in the morning. The price is maybe little bit higher. We also had a breakfast. It wasn´t a large offer - mainly omellet...

Nice looking place with cozy rooms but beware of the ones facing the street as they are very noisy due to the cars passing by. The wine is overpriced and you can find better at the other wineries. Did not try the food only breakfast which was average.

Went here on recommendation from friends who live locally. Dined as a group of 8, from start to finish the experience was great. Their menu is available in English as well as Hungarian and in addition to the hard copy menu you get given a ipad with a more detailed breakdown of the menu dishes with wonderful photos to accompany...

The place is very nice and clean. It is very close to everything you need to get to in Villány; is situated at a nice little square about 30 seconds away from the cellars on the main street. The rooms are nice, the back terrace is beautiful, the rooms look rustic and are very clean. A perfect choice for a...

We were not sure where to stay while in Villány and decided to give Halasi a try. It was definitely the right choice. It is an old house with thick walls where the owners did not try to create a modern and stylish hotel, but preserved the old country style. The decoration and the interior are tasteful, the room (we...

Halazi offers amazing rooms and a great hospitality. Reception service is very good from day one on, the rooms are s dream. Rustic with lots of wood, stones and old furniture - very high quality in some cases with nice views over the vineyard. The only reason why I do not give 5 is that the hotel us located next...

We've been in this small hotel for just a week end. It's clean. Nice wooden made rooms. We had a beautiful terrace too (room n 7), though you don't use it. Staff is polite and available to help you on anything you need. Villainy is a tiny village, great wines but after 8 pm not lively (in the night there's...

“We had a room on the ground floor. It was very big and comfortable. The only problem was it was facing the restaurant terrace, its door was three metres away from the reception and it was also very close the road, so it often got quite noisy and there was little privacy.”
