We enjoyed this place immensely, though I can understand that some people would not. The Pansiyon itself is very nice. the rooms are scattered around amongst lovely gardens - ours was comfortable and clean, though pretty basic. The (essential) air conditioning was adequate, and the bathroom spacious and functional. The food was excellent, and quite varied. Lots of fresh local...

Charming 4 days spent here, perfect start to our 2 weeks in Turkey. This family run Pansiyon is charmingly staffed in an unpretentious way. Rooms are basic but clean with hot showers. There is also a Hammam but we didn't get around to trying this. Food is excellent, especially the breakfasts with locally made delicious honey and different homemade jams...

Reserved for two nights and cancelled second night after the first few hours there. We were there in late May and the thing I could not get over in all the reviews I read of this place was that not one person mentioned the fact that the village smelled like animal dung and urine no matter where you went. Our...

This pension at Lake Bafa is well run and has a lovely garden and eating areas. The food was home cooked and very good although plain. The breakfast was truly excellent. Our rooms had some charm, although they were small and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Oddly though Lake Bafa was pretty much deserted when we were there( August)...

My husband and I stayed at Angora Pensyon for 2 nights and loved it. The family run pensyon was relaxing and well set out. Opti (pronounced Optie) was very helpful and a great guide and full of information. We spent the first day wandering about ourselves. The second day we left early with Opti for a walk to the monestory...

We have been driving up through Western Turkey, staying one night in each location. We arrived at the Agora a little early on a hot day in May, but were made very welcome by the owner, shown to our room, and given a delicious home-cooked lunch. There is a shady terrace with a couple of hammocks, where we spent the...

Lake Bafa and Mount Latmus (Besparmak Dagi) are among the few regions of Turkey which have not fallen prey to the onslaught of cement and bad development. Our choice to spend two nights in this establishment, however, proved quite unfortunate, since we ended up paying an insanely expensive sum for rooms which were small and devoid of any character. The...

Had a marvellous 2 nights here. The surroundings in terms of the lake, the rock formations, and the ancient ruins are quite stunning. Nothing is too much trouble for Mithat. The local food is all totally ecological, and incredibly tasted, as well as excellently presented. Breakfast will certainly set you up for the whole day.

The best experience! Mithat (owner's son) was amazing and made us feel like one of the family, as did mithats dad! The food was amazing and atmosphere serene! The breakfast was amazing and haven't had better Turkish food since leaving. Bafa lake was great and mithat took us out on his boat to a beachy little place not far away...

Visiting Lake Bafa was one of the best decisions we made in traveling through Turkey. It is a stunning lake close to, but extremely different from the Aegean coast. As part of a protected nature park with new development prohibited, Kapikiri gives you unspoiled natural beauty and a view of traditional country village life. Agora Pansiyon is a charming, rustic...
