My wife and I lived in Northern Ireland for a couple of years, so I'm a little snooty when it comes to castles. Most of the castles that are now run as hotels are actually relatively modern structures (often from the 19th century) that have...More
Fantastic! Our first night in Ireland EVER and it was the most unique BnB of our trip. A real gem. A castle filled with beautiful antiques great food and great atmosphere. We stayed in the haunted top room but "Orwin and Sabina" were quite polite;)...More

Thank you so much for this really special review, Ross Castle is indeed a special place and we are so happy you found us!
In short, we had a wonderful stay - after the tears.
If you book Sabina's room, you'll be thrilled!! This was the room my best friend and her husband were in and it was indescribably charming and authentic feeling.
My husband and I took the...More

We are truly sorry that the beds in the Baron's room were not the same bed displayed on the booking site, we had so many requests from non couples who wanted to stay in this room as a twin we replaced the double bed with...More

For our group of 7 we had the three tower rooms. Each room has a full or queen bed and then there are also cots available that they can set up in the top room. I'm sure you can book on the weekends. I would just add that the stairs for the rooms in the tower are steep and spiraled and so wouldn't be good for someone who has trouble going up and down stairs. However, there are also a few rooms on the ground level that you could book instead. I would suggest you reach out to Ross B&B directly. There is contact information on the website.
