Stayed for a couple of nights midweek and its a lovely clean place. The room at the back can be a little noisy as there are apartments at the back and the residents in the morning are quite noisy. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is fab, proper power shower. Breakfast is cooked fresh and plenty of choice with fruit, cereal and yoghurts available. They can't do enough for you and want you to keep eating, there's so much food. Great staff and the owner is lovely, chatty and friendly. Definitely recommend and would return to, easy to get to

This B & B is brilliant. It's well furnished, very clean, very comfortable beds. Really delicious breakfast - seasonal fruits, yoghurts, choice of cereal, juice, water, milk - full Irish, small Irish or veggie, tea/coffee toast bread. One of the party wanted a veggie breakfast with sausage and this was no problem. Jacqui and her helpful friendly staff were a pleasure to meet and deal with. We were unsure of our arrival time and this was no issue. We were a party of 5 - parents with two adult children and one teenager. Us parents had a large bedroom with great ensuite - double and single bed in the room - plenty of towels, toiletries, hot water and good shower. Children had an apartment which they were thrilled with - kitchen with sitting area, t.v., and two bedrooms - again very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The girl who met us and showed us around knew to give the teenager the wifi code! Overall we were all delighted with our stay and very impressed with the set-up. Thanks to all for a great stay and minding us so well.…

Oldcastle is a lovely quaint vilage, we clicked onto the Fincourt Hotel as we were attending a wedding in Clonabreny House near by. The Fincourt was a lovely surprise, didnt have high hopes but was totaly suprised, the place is fabulous like jewel. Staff are so friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough for us. And food wise, lunch of soup & sandwich on arrival, all home made and lovely and breakfast the following morning, again you can mix around what you wanted. Would highly recommend a stay here

We were attending a wedding at a venue near by and booked in to The Fincourt for an overnight stay. Jackie was attentive before we even arrived, phoning on the day to check our arrival time. When we got there she had kindly made a selection of sandwiches for us, and tea and coffee too. Our rooms were comfortable and spotless. We were even offered a lift to the wedding reception! In the morning both a vegetarian breakfast as well as a fry up were available. We would certainly recommend The Fincourt. The staff were just lovely!

Beautiful pub, and room , the best of Irish hospitality and craic. We were at a family wedding in Virginia 10mins up the road and this place was ideal for our weekend stay. Great breakfast coffee shop attached to the pub , wood burning stove and great breakfast, love to come back

Whilst the room and its facilities, is fairly ordinary, the place is spotlessly clean, Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great Breakfast too, by a log fire. Although the pub and coffee shop was only open at weekends, it was still a great stay. Parking wasn't a problem either. Some great pubs and eating places close by.

I stayed in the fincourt hotel on 28th July. I was attending a wedding in Clonabreany house so it was ideal as only a ten minute drive away. The rooms were clean and spacious but the outstanding part of this experience were the staff. They were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and thanks to Gary the owner who dropped us up to the wedding as we were running late. I’d recommend fincourt to anyone. Great place to stay 😊.
