We stayed at the Hotel Becket in Dec. 2016, but I am writing this review now because I wanted to just forget about that hotel stay forever. I will start with the positives-- it is right across the street from Heavenly Village. You have to cross a major, major intersection, but it was quite convenient. The second positive was that,...

Stayed here last May with my wife and absolutely loved it. Quaint eco-friendly rooms and a small spa area. Not great for families with children, but a nice quiet getaway for a couple. Very close to all the shopping and restaurants of Tahoe. The live acoustic guitar player in the bar was a nice touch.

Overall, really happy with my stay. Amazing location, right downtown near shopping and dining. Its across the street from Heavenly so perfect for a place to stay while skiing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking lots definitely need some help but the valet and great service made up for it. There have been some recent remodels and everything...

Our whole stay was a disappointing! It started with a lost booking that was generated through a third party in November 2016 for the 968 Hotel. The third party sent the booking to the hotel but since the 968 merged with the Park Inn next door and then changed its name to Hotel Becket our reservation got lost. To assure...

This place was not what we expected at all. It is literally lipstick on a pig, an old motor lodge with updated interiors. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside your room and in the next room. We were so disappointed as the web did not accurately portray this place. They have parking issues so they...

I'm very sorry you were disappointed by your recent stay and thank you for your feedback. The winter conditions in South Lake Tahoe at times can be very challenging with the tremendous amount of snow we have been blessed to receive this year. While the great snow conditions make for amazing skiing or snowboarding, the heavy snowfall (up to four...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a group spending a long weekend in Lake Tahoe. Staff from the front line employees all the way up to the General Manager were friendly, professional, and helpful. The property was recently renovated and merged with the Hotel Becket, and they are still working on some of the final touches, but both properties...

This is more of a 'motel' experience - hotel is a bit of a misnomer for this place - no interior hallways, there is a bar and restaurant that opened the weekend we stayed there but it's not really attached to the hotel and you can't bill to your room. There were some nice things about this place - good...

I used to stay at the park tahoe inn (see previous review for this property) and I loved it. It was the best kept secret in Tahoe! I was honestly pretty excited to try out Becket since it's a JDV hotel and they have high standards. However, I was sorely mistaken. Upon check-in, the bellman/valet was sitting in a chair...

Very good Customer Service at Hotel Becket, Phil at the reception is great, both girls at the coffee and happy hour bar, cleaning crew, the chef, everyone we ran into that works there was great. We had a Woods King room and it had nice decor, a very comfortable bed, wifi was ok in the room but that happens when...
