This is a farm b&b. It is housed in an old stone barn conversion. My room was upstairs, with features such as a king sized bed, large screen TV, bay window seating, and large ensuite bathroom. Val also does a lovely breakfastat a community table for interacting with others. Only the intrusion of some flies did anything to detract from...

Exceptional place to stay, warm welcoming, great food and lovely accomodation. Val it's a real credit to you how much you do for guests. Val breakfast is really very good with local bacon and sausages to die for. Very good value for money and it's even better when the fire is lit in the evenings.

We had the Red Room and were delighted to spend the evening here. Large comfortable king size bed, great bathroom ensuite and free wi-fi. Val was so welcoming and accommodating. Even though we were only spending one night, she ensured we had recommendations for dinner and the breakfast was outstanding. This B&B attracted a wonderful group and our breakfast was...

We were in a room from the courtyard which was probably an old stable but you wouldn't know it! Cosy, lovely big bed and very clean and neat bathroom. Our dog was made very welcome and the room must have been very well soundproofed as she didn't wake once to protect us. Hostess very friendly and welcoming and made us...

This the second time we've stayed at Bay Tree Farm, accommodation is first rate with King size beds. Val is a superb host and her home cooked evening meals and breakfasts are excellent . The location is close to Fountains Abbey and Ripon, and ideally situated for both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Highly recommended

Stayed for 2 nights over Easter and had originally only requested Val's evening meal for one night but we enjoyed it so much that we stayed in the second night. Both meals were roasts , chicken then lamb, but cooked exceptionally well and the trimmings all had special twists which was a real surprise; at £20 for 4 courses (including cheese)...

Took my husband to visit Val this time, along with our two Sussex Spaniels, and what a great time we had. Val cooked a lovely four course meal for our arrival even though we were arriving late. The walks and muddy fun we had with the dogs was first class followed by relaxing evenings in front of the log fire...

A warm welcome awaits you at Bay Tree Farm where Valerie and Andrew Leeming offer home hospitality in a truly rural setting close to Fountains Abbey. All bedrooms are en suite and the kettle is always on the boil. On offer too is excellent country cooking.
