Myself and two daughters had the pleasure of spending two nights here very recently while visiting family nearby. On arrival and during our stay staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Throughout, the decor was very appealing Our room no 5 was huge, we had a king-size bed, single bed and a pullout bed and had lots of room to walkabout....

Popped here with my good wife as working close and I was not disappointed. Nice warm welcome, great room, great food on evening and I can highly recommend peppered steak. The breakfast was up there with the best I have had from an Inn or Hotel for a long time. Staff so nice and so pleasant I do really struggle...

This was just a short over-night stay but a very pleasant surprise - really nice place ... very well laid out country pub but with some very modern bedrooms, all very well appointed. Dinner was very tasty, with a good range of menu items - service was very friendly too ... the complimentary breakfast was great too

This country pub has been extensively refurbished with modern decor. Bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms spotless with nice toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Busy restaurant with good choice on menu, breakfasts were amazing. Staff friendly and attentive.

Absolutely love this place. Our room was gorgeous & huge! Lovely bathroom with a fabulous walk in shower. Clean & comfy. Would definitely stay again & would recommend it. We had dinner in the restaurant. The menu was very good with some different choices. Couldn't fault anything we had. The staff were friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Excellent accommodation, restaurant amazing, service very good, tho reception staff could be a bit happier/smilier. Maybe just having a bad day...Overall highly recommended and will go back again. Views from Pendle Hill are fab.

This venue's ideal for a family get-together. The event this time was a my father's 84th birthday. Good selection of food, though most of the party chose the Sunday roast, with a choice of lamb, chicken or beef brisket. The lamb was great - succulent and well presented. Only qualms being that we could have done with a bit more...

Took 2 rooms for one night. One of the rooms was in a separate building and umbrellas were thoughtfully supplied for the walk back to the pub. We were there on a wet night. The room was huge and comfortable and was as good as any four star hotel room. The only issue was noise from slamming doors particulary early...

Stayed for two nights through work ,and ate in the restaurant on both evenings . Food is excellent and had steak one evening and the stuffed chicken on the other evenings. Between the 12 of us must have tried all the starters and main courses. All very good . We mainly drank the Wainwrights beers and St Miguel draft beers....
