This competitively-priced 3-star hotel lived up to expectations. Attentive staff answered any questions we posed. Our spacious room towards the rear of the hotel, away from the road, was very quiet and we slept very well. It's always difficult in a strange bed but it was very comfortable. The cooked breakfasts were great, with plenty of cereal, fruit, etc on...

I came across Flackley Ash on Booking.com, it was one of the cheapest spa hotels in the area and despite recommendations from friends to book another hotel which was more expensive and not having not visited Flackley Ash before I decided to make an enquiry before booking. The price was so reasonable I called to see if the price included...

A lovely old hotel near Rye. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding area and easy to get to. The hotel itself is lovely if a little tired, some small issues with the repairs (screw holding bath panel together and wallpaper peeling) however these small issues were innocuous by the very friendly staff. Room was adequate however not what...

A beautiful old Hotel which is quintessentially English - Although a little tired in places this is made up for by the beautiful grounds and welcoming staff The room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable, the four poster bed was gorgeous. It is a lovely retreat and the dining room was stunning.

We had a great nights stay in the Flackley Ash Hotel. They were very accommodating. We ate in the bar in the evening and it was very nice. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good too and Oscar loved it.

We stayed at this hotel on a very cold February weekend and booked it because of the spa and swimming pool which was very good. I had planned to propose to my girlfriend on the Saturday night at dinner and had pre-arranged with the restaurant manager Lee to help me with my requirements. All the staff were extremely helpful and...

Firstly I have to compliment the staff, they are so helpful and efficient, the building itself is beautiful and the food was good but the rooms that we saw ( we declined the first one we were allocated) are best described as an ideal setting for a period drama, unfortunately we declined to be part of the cast and didn't stay for...
