The hotel provides smaller rooms with bathroom, flat tv. No fridge,no a/c. Most of the rooms with balcony. Pets allowed ! The accomodation is ok for and average 3*.the restaurant on half floor, nothing for disableds. The food is a Slovak "traditional style" -all meat, nothing for vegetarians or new cuisine lovers. The pool and sauna area is super,5* !!! although one could prefer the "no jump to pool" to be respected by families with children and the htl staf. The location is the real star of the htl, near the spa centre of the town and the park and the new pool Zelena zaba. We had an accommodation and medical wellness package. This "wellness" is, unfortunately, very bad quality. The staf is not keen on working in the htl, poor masages, some asking for tips..a shame for the whole stay.…
The hotel is a smaller one beside the main Street, with a good position for the spa centre, the newly opened open air pool and the park. Perfect indoor wellness, the rooms are renovated, clean. Outdated restaurant and not so good meal choice. Altogether a perfect value stay, recommended!
The location is prima, the services are 3 stars as it really is and the wellness, sauna and fitness qualify for 3 stars hotel. It is not exactly new, but everything clean and functional. They close the restaurant and cafe at 10:00 PM sharp, so after dinner please drink up.
The arrangement and start of our stay was perfect: the lady on reception was very friendly, we have get a good and large appartement in a nice and beautyful city. Unfortunatelu, the continuation was less pleasent: the WC was not working, we should ask for the tea facility on the reception, for cups and spoons in the restorant. The dishes in restaurant were below the average level, some dishes (with symbolical changes) were offered during 3 days. Nobody offered us procedures in this or other hotels/spas, although it could provide more money to both hotel and the city. We have stay in this hotel a long time ao, and we are sorry to state, that the hotel was renoved, but not so much was changed in the quality of the provided services from the time of socialism.
Hotel Flora is nearest hotel to the swimming pool Zelena Zaba. This hotel is cozy, rooms are decorated with wooden ceiling, with balcony, no A/C, separated toilet and bathroom in the rooms hall. Hotel architecture is from 70s, and in good condition. Hotel provides restaurant, coffee - bar, small fitness centrum, wellness with medical procedures. Good value for money.
It is a beautiful place to take relax in Slowakia even during the cold winter days, you feel like in Wunderland seeing the trees covered with snow . Pool im hotel is newly renovated, water clear with a beautiful blue lightnings on ceiling and I love sauna with outdoors cooling water pool, where the snow crunched unter the feets .You get a profesional advice direct from doctor and massage from professional personal to .Als member of work trade union yearly we have even nowadays meetings there.I just can greatly recommend this place for families even with small kids and couples or for senior traveles.Staff is correct and professional.
Was robbed of nearly 30 euros for 4 of us the changing rooms in the swimming pool was disgusting have seen better public toilets from that place the terrace outside was filthy avoid like the plague only wanted to go for a swim but there is better places in the area
In this hotel we were to celebrate my birthday, but the water was cold in the thermal pool and sauna offered was inadequate and the operation was about 60 % (due to energy savings of employees - every half hour, the unit was turned off). In addition , the hotel's car park stone from the hill fell on our car and hotel director Ing . Miroslav Godal promise of reimbursement to cover damage to the car ( oral and written), but when we sent an invoice for payment agreed the director refused to pay it at all. We have a very bad experience.
Staff is very unprofessional. Rooms are small, ugly and you can hear every word you neighbour says. Director prommised something, but promissed only, etc. Very dissapointing experience. Trencianske Teplice is a cute, if small, spa, with very welcoming forests everywhere around.
Staff is very unprofessional - on arrival, we were lectured by a young receptionist on the need to book well in advance despite the fact we were cluthing a copy of booking.com reservation (she later got in touch with a colleague who confirmed that we indeed had a reservation); barely anyone speaks English; massages are not particularly good. Rooms are small, ugly and you can hear every word you neighbour says. You get towels in your bathroom that are worn out and thorn around the edges. The whole place is full of German pensioners. They apparently paid way less through a travel agency than what you pay if you get an internet booking. We paid 88 euro a night, and this was totally unreasonable for the "quality" offered and we promptly cancelled the next night. The only redeeming features was a good wireless internet connection and relatively good cleanliness. On the other hand, forget about the small and crowded swimming pool. Trencianske Teplice is a cute, if small, spa, with very welcoming forests everywhere around. However, there are practically no decent restaurants there and as far as we heard, hotel Flora is among the best in town - which is a good reason for giving the whole place a miss.…
